Had a 2nd floor balcony room (206) x 2 nights. Pros outweighed the cons: very helpful, nice workers; strong shower water pressure; great mattresses; fabulously cool and quiet A/C; decent Wi-Fi; lovely natural grounds with birdsong amid exquisite sparkling pools; nice breakfast buffet included with room; Santa Rosa Plaza across the road with a fine grocery store and a great crepe cafe, among others.
Cons: a lot of truck and car noise on highway as others have said; traffic congestion in Liberia during the main part of the day; and noise from people in the pool area late into the night. But I’d totally want to stay at Boyeros again - for the real Costa Rican experience - ear plugs not to be forgotten.

We always enjoy our stay at Boyeros. The service is excellent, the breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are clean. We especially like the swimming pools which are well maintained except for some missing tiles at the far end of the big pool.

Country hotel. It's very close to the Tica bus station. Right at the door. There is a mall opposite. Don’t worry if you can live in a rural place like this. Ctrip is expensive, it’s better to stay in the hotel directly, it’s only $75 including breakfast

The internet is super poor; there is no place to buy water, so I fell asleep with thirst on the first night; the air conditioner in the room was facing the bed, so it was hot and stuffy, and it was a headache for the cold wind blowing for a little longer. There should be no next stay.

Room was basic with firm beds and 1 folding chair. Clean with good A/C and hot water. Patio has a couple chairs looking at the nice courtyard/pool area.
Breakfast was a buffet of a couple kinds of eggs, rice/beans, fruit starting at 6:30.
Parking was secured, though looked completely full in the morning. Parrallel parking on the skinny path around the hotel.

The room was sp**** but clean and comfortable enough. The grounds were worn but had pretty gardens. The pool was in need of repair but my kids enjoyed it. The area is right beside a highway. The grounds were surrounded by fence and razor wire which made us wonder how safe the area was. I’d stay at the hotel again if I HAD to go to Liberia.

The rooms are clean and basic. There appears to be no hot water. This is our second stay. The morning breakfast is fantastic.

Overnight for flight reasons. The staff were exceptional. All were friendly, polite & helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant which had great ambience (except the traffic occasionally, but that can't be helped) and good food. Pool looked great, but we were tired so didn't partake. Grounds were immaculate. Complimentary breakfast was quite well done. I would've liked a meat something though. Even scrambled eggs & chorizo, not necessarily bacon or the like.
