Family-friendly Hotels in Lijiang

Located just on the south edge of ancient town. I much prefer this area as it is quiet and accessible by car, unlike most hotels in ancient town. Breakfast buffet is a welcome and served a variety of continental and chinese food. Get quite crowded at 9AM and typical China tourist behaviour can be expected. Golf carts sent and picked us up from our room, which is in a garden environment. I went in winter so the walks around the hotel were nice. Rooms are quite dated, albeit very clean. Some lights were either blown or flickering. Moisturiser container wasnt topped up but concierge responded quickly.

The facilities are amazing! The rooms have been well designed, with a modern look! The staff were very accommodating and helped us with all our questions we had. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Lijiang!

The last stop of Suixinfei was Lijiang. Because I didn’t want to take leave and wanted to go to the mountains for two days in a row, I chose a hotel at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. The experience was unexpectedly good. I'm very satisfied with what I said. 1. It takes 10 minutes to go to the place where the entrance fee is collected at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and it costs 30 yuan to take a taxi. Very close and convenient. 2. On the second floor of the hotel restaurant, you can watch the Rizhao Mountains. Especially now that it is cold in winter, you can have breakfast indoors with the air conditioner blowing on. After eating, you can finish watching the Rizhao Jinshan Mountains. Go back to your room and tidy up before heading to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Just in time for the 9 o'clock ropeway. The timing is just perfect. 3. The hotel is very beautiful, with an artificial lake and artificial rockery in the center, giving it a Jiangnan feel. There is a forest walk at the back where you can climb a small path. I didn’t see anyone talking about it when I looked at the guide before. I guess everyone just went straight to the snow-capped mountains without exploring the hotel. I was also recommended by Xiao Zhao that I could go for a walk and discovered a new world. There are 4 small pavilions at different heights as you go to the right along the promenade. I think it will be very happy in the summer. You can look down at the small lake from the top, and have a happy tea with your friends. It will be a happy life. If you walk to the left, you can see the snow-capped mountain tops, but they are mostly obscured by trees. Maybe you can make the trees shorter to see more scenery. 4. The room is large and there is a small balcony for me. I looked at the one next door. My balcony seems to be a little bigger than others. It can hold 3 chairs. It will be very happy to lie down after climbing the mountain. 5. The staff's service is very good. They mainly deal with A Ming and Xiao Zhao. They called me in advance that morning to tell me the location of the hotel so that I could not find it. When I arrived, they asked me if I wanted to eat at the hotel in the evening because I had to order food to avoid guests. After climbing the snow-capped mountains, I had no food to eat. On the first day, I climbed 4680 and came down the mountain too late and there was no car. A Ming was kind enough to ask me to take a taxi at the foot of the mountain and ask him to pick me up the mountain. As a result, I came back and found that I was the only one eating in the restaurant, and the kitchen uncle had been waiting for me to cook a cross-bridge rice noodle. It just makes me feel that it is in place in every aspect. When you get to the mountains, you really need a better hotel to live more comfortably. Finally, I was given a gift set from the hotel to take with me. I just think it’s worth it. This service, this facility, this location. 6. In summary, I think it will be very comfortable to stay for at least two days. On the first day, I climbed 4680 Blue Moon Valley and came back for massage and visited the hotel. On the second day, I saw Rizhao Jinshan Mountain, then Maoniuping Yunshanping, and then came back for massage. It is a plan that is very comfortable and allows you to play in various areas of the snow-capped mountains at a relatively suitable pace.

I had a wonderful vacation at Banyan Tree Lijiang. I booked a large bed room with a massage pool and enjoyed the view of the snow-capped mountains while soaking in the pool in the yard. It felt like a vacation. The garden design of the hotel's public area is very exquisite, with many fruit and flower trees planted, allowing you to enjoy different landscapes throughout the year. Children can feed fish and ducks at any time here, play in the Yunshang Farm and trampoline park, and there are various handicraft experience activities every day. The butler service here is also very good. Thank you to our butler Rosa for helping arrange the birthday decoration. She has been paying attention to our stay experience during our stay. The service is very meticulous and considerate. The staff at the hotel's boutique, concierge, and housekeeping departments are always enthusiastic and courteous to provide service and assistance. Overall everything was great!

Exceeded expectations. Very new hotel, very clean, and high tech. Room size was good, toilet with automated wc. Do note, though, that the glass separating wc and shower is transparent; not convenient for 2 people to use at the same time. The location is in-between Black Dragon Lake and the Water Wheel - both within 5 mins walk. Service was very polite, with complimentary afternoon tea, fruits and pastry.

This hotel is a perfect location to closely enjoy Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenery right on the spot. Hotel room view of the mountain is right in front of you. Nightly starry sky is right ahead of you. There’s no need to travel to see the beautiful mountain because it is nestled near the snow mountain. Every hotel staff is so helpful and welcoming, we feel so warm and happy every where we go - front desk staff, managers, restaurant staff, shuttle drivers so pleasantly take you around the hotel facilities (though we prefer to walk most of the time to enjoy every single step. We’re well taken cared of even getting complimentary rides to and from the visitors center. All staff , every one, treats us so warmly and happily. After you paid for the hotel room price - which we think is well worth it, all other expenses like dinners, room service are very reasonably priced. The only downside is the photo package included, professional photographer does a very good job but don’t get trapped in being talked into purchasing photos at 80 Yuen each which can become the most expensive add on during your trip. On the other hand, if you really like taking and keeping glamorous pictures it is your call.

真的舒服的酒店干净也吃的好。然我好好的休息爬山。 This was an amazing hotel. All my friends including me enjoyed the authentic lijiang architecture. The provided amenities including souvenirs was complete. A perfect place for a good place to rest before heading to the Tigerleap George Hike. Without their soft bed this hike wouldn’t be possible!

I have never stayed in a B&B before, but my family heard that it would be a mistake not to stay in a B&B when going to Lijiang, so I originally wanted to book InterContinental, but instead I searched among the many B&Bs. Fortunately, the adventure proved to be worth it in the end! The accommodation is very good, just get off at Shishan Road and walk down a short distance (3-40 meters). It's right next to the ancient city viewing point (it's very interesting to stand on the terrace outside the hotel room and watch the people coming and going on the viewing platform outside). If you walk further down, you will reach the Waterwheel or Bar Street in two minutes. I stayed at the hotel for two days. Due to special reasons, I came in and out of the hotel during the day, in the middle of the night, and in the early morning. Although it was located on a hill, I didn't feel at all unsafe. The hotel (it’s better to call it a home in a foreign land) can stay very comfortably for ten days and a half. If you like Lijiang Old Town, it is the best choice.

It was my first time to experience Lijiang, so it was a bit unfamiliar, but the guy at the inn was very enthusiastic. Helped us arrange a driver and travel guide. We went to many internet celebrity check-in points in Lijiang Old Town, and the experience was very good. There was also warm tea when we returned to the B&B. Xiaojun introduced us to the history and culture of Lijiang and the legend of Naxi every time. The rooms and public gardens of the B&B are also very beautiful. I really like the stone-style courtyard from the rooms on the second floor. The style of the room also has stone walls, which is very artistic. I would like to recommend more of my friends to experience it.

Really nice designed hotel. The entry, the yard, the room are all decorated nicely. Tranditional style room but facilities are well-prepared & modern. Guest are totally secured to enjoy. (There is also washing machine & garment dryer in public area). Must try for whom prefer Chinese trandiational house/room. Staffs are extremely nice, funny, kind & helpful (especially Xiao Yuan, the guy with blond hair). They advise the good restaurants, good souvenir shop, introduce the tour. Even take us to the restaurant/shop/service shop they introduce, care abt our experience there. We were served welcome drinks (nice tea & flower cakes) so many times & many fresh fruits during 3 days there. Breakfast is simple but really good-taste. High-recomend for the noodle named mixian. Another plus point is the hand-some & friendly 🐶. Our xiao shuai ge😆 Location is also good. Only abt 100m fr the South gate of old town, convenience for taxi approaching. Abt 10’ walking to the center part of old town so you can both enjoy the quiet & peaceful atmosphere of old town as well as the exciting activies in the center. By the way the old town street is tidy, both local citizens & visitors keep it clean. The only thing wish them to improve is shampoo (a bit dry for hair) & water heater (a bit hard to adjust the temperature). Anyway these are just really small things, wont effect to your enjoying.
