Nicely presented guesthouse in a beautiful water garden setting. Although the path on the other side of the inn can be noisy with bike carts going past on the cobbles. The deluxe room was nicely decorated and we had a small patio to ourselves each night. Hotel staff were smoking in the reception area despite ‘no smoking’ signs. Not acceptable and shouldn’t be allowed. Being close to the reception area meant there was a lot of loud talking/noise in the late evening. However, the female receptionist was very helpful and did a lot for us for our trip, even refunding a night’s stay when we decided to spend a night at Tiger Leaping Gorge.
