This hotel was fantastic from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. It is so cosy and welcoming on every level. The staff were all very nice and made every effort to make sure we were looked after. They were all really cool too! The food and wine were really very good, (I had King Crab Mac and cheese for lunch everyday). We had a lovely new year dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was really good, with a great selection to set you up for the day. Definitely a five star place.

We stayed here during our visit to Longyearbyen - great hotel. Comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. There was a good range of breakfast items, definitely something for everyone - and a view too. We had one evening meal there - awesome!

Loved staying here, everyone was so welcoming and the hotel was so cozy and comfortable. A great place to warm up after our adventures. Also really loved that you don't wear shoes inside and the slippers they provide for you to wear.

The staff was absolutely wonderful, providing top-notch service throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the delightful 5 PM complementary snack, which was simply awesome and added a special touch to our evenings.
The cozy ambiance of the Funken Hotel made our stay even more enjoyable. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The only suggestion I would make would be to consider updating some of the rooms and showers. Additionally, offering better quality shampoo would be a nice touch.

A magical stay in a magical place. The rooms are beautiful and incredibly comfortable, the service and team are outstanding and friendly, the food is spectacular. Simply amazing! We will be back to see it all again in winter!
