Valley Inn

The location is not bad, close to Universal Studios, in order to go to Universal Studios the next day, so the hotel is very general, but there is a free breakfast in the morning (previously it said there is no breakfast), but breakfast Quite simple, only bread, you can also make waffles
Hometown Inn North Hills

This hotel is on the Sepulveda Blvd Strip in the San Fernando Valley. Having stayed at most of the hotels/motels on the boulevard, the HOMETOWN INN (9401 Sepulveda Blvd) Employs a dedicated front office staff committed to caring for their guests and accommodating special needs at any hour of the day. The hotel itself is well maintained and for the daily rate of $100.00 seven days a week, there are no surprises. Forget a coffee cup or need a plastic fork or spoon? Just ask the desk clerk. They cheerfully provided what no other establishment would ever consider. HOMETOWN INN of North Hills wins my 5 💎 award. Secured parking, well lighted common areas, wifi that works all over the property, cable tv and A/C. 7-Eleven at donut shop some fast food restaurants in the laundry mat or steps from the front door.
Granada Inn

This review is for GRANADA INN in Rinaldi st, GRANADA HILLS & NOT for any other hotel or inn with same name in Los Angeles or anywhere in the world. I RARELY give a BAD REVIEW but I need to share our experience last Mar 5: 1) WI-FI did NOT work despite numerous attempts of the efficient receptionist😓 2) TELEPHONE did NOT work too. - I had to walk to the office to complain 3) TV did NOT also work 😞. However, it was later fixed by front desk staff. 4) WORST THING for this handicap room:😫 -The bathroom FLOODED😨, at least 2 inches water. My husband only washed his feet. I made sure knob/ handle was tightly closed. But an hour later, WATER was everywhere. There must be a LEAK somewhere. The shower drain was obviously clogged for that much water to accumulate😫 in the whole big bathroom. Although it was so late, staff moved us to the next room. Very INCONVENIENT & CUMBERSOME! 😩 but necessary. He brought lots of towels but they were not enough to cover the bathroom lake. My husband ALMOST FELL in the water😥 while I was packing. I had to go in fast (when I heard him going inside) before an accident could happen. DANGEROUS bathroom scenario. 5) Next Room (room 102) Problems: a) HEATER did not work properly-😢 I had to raise temp to 89 to adequately heat the room. Previous room (#101) was warm enough with temp set @72. b) BATHROOM DOOR😭 It looks so sturdy & feels heavy but when my husband (who’s weak & wobbly after his hosp discharge that day) tried to open & slide it, but the door somehow came off & HIT his head.😢Fortunately, I was able to catch him before he would fall to the floor. I had to push that door against the wall. Thankfully, the glass was not broken🙏🏻. He later complained of moderate to severe headache. I’ve had 2 recent surgeries for cancer 🙏🏻& lifting >5 lbs is not allowed at this time but with my husband’s predicament & near accidents, I had to exert so much effort 😫 to support his 200 lb weight & prevent him from falling down. 6) HANDICAP PARKING It’s located in front of the reception area. That’s NOT appropriate since the handicap room is NOT nearby. My husband had to walk with difficulty😢to our assigned room. HANDICAP PARKING should be RIGHT NEXT to the handicap room. I had to suggest that when we first check in & when we checked out. Minor inconveniences: 1) limited parking 2) noise from the freeway since it very, very close to 405N entrance 3) no working vending machine (work order for repair mentioned by receptionist) in the facility at that time. Unfortunately, there’s no complimentary water bottles for guests inside the room like most hotels & inns now provide. You have to drive to the gas station to buy them. I had to ask the front desk guy to give me a cup of water for my husband to take with his meds right away. I sent an email concerning our issues during our stay to 2 depts, including customer service but received NO RESPONSE, as if they did NOT care at all. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Be VERY WARY of this place... We’

The surrounding environment of the hotel is generally less than the previous stay in Silicon Valley and Disney. At night, there is no way to go out at the door. The supermarket has a motel exterior. The room is still very good. The size of the twin bed is large enough. There is a small closet room and the bathroom is also spacious and self-driving. Sleeping on the last night in Los Angeles, there is nothing else to ask for breakfast, no breakfast, very simple parking, free drinking water, you need to buy it yourself.
Best Western Burbank Airport Inn
4.2/5108 Reviews
This hotel seemed like a good value, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The location is in a rough area of Burbank / Hollywood. For example, a car was on fire in the middle of the road just a block from the hotel. Police sirens were going all day and all night. The room had a terrible view (see picture). The carpet looked worn and dirty. The bed was ok. The bathroom was fine. It had a leaky faucet that was fixed immediately. The breakfast was not good. Eggs and sausage were available, but looked and tasted awful. Waffle was all right. The staff was kind and helpful. I did like the free parking, although double-parking was necessary and we had to leave our car key at the front desk. There's just much better hotels in far better locations.

The area where the hotel is at leaves something to be desired but because most hotels in the area were booked ( I do not know why in the midst of a lock down), so no choice but to go with this ( trust me, there were worse ones in the list of choices, yuck!). It also appears that most folks who were staying in this area were either relocating or passing through because none look to be from the area ( to be honest, they look like folks who lost their homes or were into drugs because their vehicles were mostly packed) but anyway, even though I requested to be on the first floor I was assigned to the second floor, between two rooms that were just noisy, and I told the front desk this, but no way to relocate me as the hotel has no vacancy so after two night I can take it no longer and had to check out early, and this was pre-paid stay the Chinese lady was none to happy that I was checking out and had the audacity to tell me that next time I need to be sure of my dates ( I heard her! and when I asked her to repeat what she said) she said nothing but of crse I already understood her grumbling, so lesson is that not to come back here ever again.
