Hotel Loyds

Loyds hotel is located in El Publado district/commune in Medellin, Colombia. Hotel rooms are super clean with very good quality linen. Breakfast is included. Very friendly and helpful staff. Closer to many tourist attractions/actions. Bars, night clubs, and restaurants in the area. About 10-15 min walking distance from the metro station. I used ride share to get around - it was very inexpensive. Lots of activity in the evenings. I felt very safe and secure walking around.

While the hotel's overall ambiance and service earned it a 4-star rating, the breakfast experience fell short. Limited options and subpar quality left much to be desired. Despite this, the comfortable rooms and friendly staff contribute to a generally positive stay. Improved breakfast choices could enhance the overall guest experience.

Highly recommended to stay there. They are very friendly, they provide good service, place is secure, 24/7 service from the front desk. They will help you with any kind of information. The rooms are good, nice and clean a good place to stay everything is a walking distance and very closed by, atm’s, *****tore, shops, restaurant, beauty store, taxi stand, bars and many more. For a couple or a family I recom. You to stay there.

Great option, especially the room with Jacuzzi and Turkish bath. The included breakfast pretty good as well. My only complaint is the lack of soundproofing in the room. Staff very nice and helpful, one went out of his way to let me use his personal phone for a local call.

One of them went out of his way to let me use his personal phone for a local call 👌🏻 🔸If you are not a heavy sleeper then noise will be an issue 😨 (note: it wasn't for us) but still, they need to fix this. 🔸Breakfast was really good and the hours are pretty good (7 to 10). You get to choose style of 🥚🍳eggs with ham/sausage/veggie options or mix it all up. Fruits, OJ 🥤, coffee/tea, a ham/cheese sandwich 🥪, bread, arepa 🫓, cereal 🥣 or pancake. A very complete breakfast if you ask me 👌🏻 🔸 VERY CLEAN 🔸Paid Shuttle option from airport if needed. 🔸Smart TV is painfully SLOW so either take a smart device or just enjoy their cable (lots of channels). 🔸Rooms need better soundproofing, at least on the ground level 🔸Great modern clean minimalist style. 🔸Loved the executive room with Jacuzzi and Turkish bath. 🔸Bathroom is great 🔸Bed is on the very firm side but not uncomfortable if you are alright with those. 🔸The exec room also has a section in between the Jacuzzi and Turkish bath that lets natural light come in from the roof and you can't really "close" it so if light is an issue this will also be a problem for sleeping (note: it wasn't for us) The rooms on the ground level (also where the executive room is) are literally 25 feet away from the front desk/breakfast tables and DEFINITELY need better soundproofing, you will read this a lot on other reviews but it's also not really a problem unless you are sensitive to it... my gf and I had NO issues and we spent most of our 3 days in the room 😇 Still, for this reason and being objective I can't give it 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐❌

Optimum cost vs value hotel for an excellent overall experience: well located, very good included breakfast and great location with friendly staff

Does not state requirements to check in, even as a colombian citizens they need passport to check in. The manager was unwilling to help even after i showed them all forms of ID i had. I did not stay and was charged for the night. They lack customer service and ethic. If i could put 0/10 i would.

Great location! Just a few blocks away from El Poblado and Lleras Parks, and walking distance from Provenza. This is great since you are close enough but will be able to get your sleep without hearing everyone partying on the street! And it felt pretty safe to walk the area. El Exito supermarket and Poblado metro station are also very near by. Even SantaFe shopping mall is walkable! Super friendly staff, always willing to help, breakfast options are fine (fried or scrambled eggs, omelette, delicious pankakes, fruit, arepa, and beverages) they even prepared a doggy bag for us to take on an early tour to Guatape!

Very good hotel at a good price. Staff, the breakfast, and the location (quiet but very close to everything) were excellent and the room was very good. Would recommend a stay here.
