After a long day on the road we checked in wanting to shower before going out for the evening. Then we found that there was NO HOT WATER. Went down to the lobby and found the maintenance guy who told us that the boiler wasn't working and he was waiting for a plumber to come and help fix it. We were assured it would be fixed. The front desk person told us we could get a refund if we wanted to leave. After a long day on the road the last thing I wanted was to have to hunt up another hotel to stay in and move there, so given the assurance that the hot water would be fixed we stayed. After going to dinner we wanted to get a drink at the hotel bar - only to find that it had ALREADY CLOSED. This was before 9PM. So we went next door for a drink. When we got back around 10:30 we found that the plumber had just arrived. The maintenance guy told us that he wouldn't be going home until the problem was fixed. We went to our room expecting to have hot water in the morning. There was NO HOT WATER in the morning. Front desk person who checked us out assured us that there should be no problem getting their corporate office to approve a refund. WRONG - no refund.
