Every employee that we came in contact with were so friendly and knowledgeable. We were greeted after hours check in. Was in a great location for the wedding we were attending. Tammy made sure we had the best breakfast. Rooms were clean. Would recommend highly!!!

I will never book at this hotel again. TVs did not work, dirty drawers in kitchen and bathroom, damp smell to room, never pucked up trash or replenished towels. NOT Marriott standard at all.

My mother and I stayed here while in town visiting sick relatives. I chose based on location and last minute availability. The rooms were up nice and upgraded, so I figured we should be ok. There was a leak in my mother's room dripping from the vent to the carpet. The front office gave us a garbage can and told us maintenance would be made aware. Almost a day later, complete silence. Apparently this wasn't an emergency to anyone but us. My mother has asthma and sleeping somewhere with damp carpet isn't acceptable. This place wasn't worth $200 a night. Don't plan on staying here again and neither should you.

The reviews are all over for this property so I didn’t know what to expect. I typically stay away from Marriot properties because they have a tendency to over promise and under deliver. However, we’d been driving for hours and we were tired and were wondering how bad could it be. I didn’t have the issues with trash or dirty rooms. In fact the room was cleaned and had been recently remodeled. Our issues came from technology. First, the Marriot app sent us to the wrong building. What you want to do late at night is wonder around looking for your room. But the front desk straightened us out. Then the digital key didn’t work to enter the other building, so back to the front desk for a physical key. Once we got in the building, neither the physical key nor the digital key would open the door. So clerk had to change our room because she could not get us in. The clerk was very nice and apologetic but it doesn’t make up for nearly an hour to get in a room. TownPlace is supposed to be mid tier, but this acted like a budget motel. The “Breakfast Buffet” was continental and there were things like shampoo in a dispenser. I won’t be staying again.

Nasty service, room rundown and not clean, appliances rusted and shabby. NOT what one expects from a Marriott property. The location is sketchy and the pool is tiny and ICE COLD even in summer months. There are always shady characters in the parking lot. Trash everywhere. Food all around the pool and trashcan overflowing... I am titanium elite with marriott and I stay in many. I have stayed at this property a few times and finally had to tell my booking agent to NEVER book me here again. The wifi never works, subsequently the TVs never work. Breakfast is OK and the guy who handles that is very friendly. Aside from him and Tiffany who works occasionally, the staff is rude and abrupt.

We visited Mobile, Alabama to explore the USS Alabama. This is a great location. You are close to lots of restaurants and some shopping. It didn't take long to get to the ship. The rooms are a great size with a kitchen with a coffee maker, microwave and full size fridge. It comes with everything that you need. We didn't use the pool. There was plenty of parking and it's in a quiet area. I highly recommend checking out the museums in Mobile. They have a lot of good ones. The breakfast included wasn't that great. We ended up eating at the Brick and Spoon! It's so delicious. I was afraid to stay here mainly from the other reviews. My room was clean but the tables were a bit dusty. I didn't see any bugs. Again this was May 2021, but it was affordable for a last minute getaway. I bring Clorox wipes to every hotel that we stay at. I would bring some and hand soap 🧼 I didn't take many pictures but I will share them.

Stayed here on a golf trip for 3 nights. Bed was comfortable, all amenities are they for a longer stay, refrigerator, small stove, oven, dishes, utensils, coffee pot, mine was cracked, so I had to go get a new one. My side door was locked at all times. I used my mobile key to get in. Staff was nice, at least most of them. Down the street from the main road airport boulevard. All the usual chain restaurants.

Staff was very friendly, room , lobby and hallways were clean. Only disappointment was our first room the heat, the bedroom lights and phones didn't work. So Ms. Jennifer moved us to another room. That room was better. Refrigerator was rusted on the outside and microwave were rusted inside in both rooms so we didnt use them. Peeling paint on the doors....but overall ok.
