Hotels near Confucius Temple Qinhuai River Scenery Belt in Nanjing

Within 5-10 mins walk to Fuzimiao subway (exit 3) and Fuzimiao/Qinhuai river boat ride and scenery area and many choices on eateries. Downside is the shower area has only half glass door and water will splash out and wet the toilet area. Have to walk behind the hotel to Grand Cosy hotel (sister hotel) for breakfast.May be an issue on rainy days as there is no shelter and both hotels are not connected to each other.

A very good travel experience. The location of Zhuangyuan Building is very good, right next to the Confucius Temple archway. The front desk, concierge and housekeeping staff were all friendly and courteous. The front desk helped us upgrade to a premium room with a view. Looking at the panoramic view of the Confucius Temple scenic area, we will definitely come back when we visit Nanjing again. This hotel👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The best hotel I have stayed in my trip to China this December. The rooms are big and spacious and clean. I had the double guest room and it came with a television and a projector TV. We could watch our shows separately in the room as they have cleverly positioned the speakers for the projection behind the bind. There is a big platform near the window, presumably to be in the same mood as the theatre theme. This is perfect for us for our 4 luggage. There are fresh fruits served daily in the room, and amenities are replenished daily. The breakfast has a good variety of selection. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and dryer. The hotel staff are all polite and helpful, even gave my kids free breakfast during our stay. If I have to nickpick at something, it would be that there is around 5 stairs to the lobby of the hotel and not so luggage friendly.

Cleanliness: The room is not very big but very clean Service: There was a problem with the TV the next day after I checked in, but it was solved immediately. The lady at the front desk was very nice and arranged a quieter room, and also gave me snacks after leaving the hotel. Environment: It is very close to Confucius Temple and a five-minute walk away. It is also very convenient to be a few minutes away from the subway station. The only bad thing is that there is a wall outside the window and you can't see anything.

Checking in took too long, I had to fill in forms and give unnecessary details which took about 30 minutes before I could get my room key. The room was great, clean but a bit noisy because of the location. It is really well located, a walking distance from Fuzimiao station, Fuzimiao area, Aqua city shopping mall and a short drive to Xinjiekou.

Taking advantage of the summer vacation, I took a short trip, compared several hotels, and finally chose Shuguangwei Hotel! The first thing I want to talk about is the location. It is absolutely in the city center and is right on the edge of the Qinhuai River in Confucius Temple. It is especially suitable for night tours! It's also very close to Laomendong, about ten minutes' walk away. It's a little far from Xinjiekou, but the transportation is convenient! ! So the location is great! ! ! Service: Warm and thoughtful, prompt response! ! Environment: The decoration is a bit old and the facilities are average. Because it is in a busy city, the rooms along the street will be a bit noisy, which is acceptable. Overall, it is very good! ! It is worth mentioning that the wooden floor in the room and the hotel slippers are probably hostile. There will be a creaking sound when walking, which is very loud! ! ! This needs improvement! It affects your rest too much! ! !

I traveled by car in January and stayed in many hotels. This was the only hotel where I stayed for 2 consecutive days. Firstly, there are so many attractions to visit in Nanjing. The bathroom cabinet glass was spotless and the room didn't have any odor, which is very rare in hotels I've stayed in recently. You can use the towels and bathrobes with confidence, it’s a great experience! 2. Service: Needless to say, all hotel services now are first-class. It may be related to the general environment. The cultural and tourism industry is not easy to do, so we pay special attention to humanistic care. One detail is that my sister booked a room for her 2-and-a-half-year-old baby, and the housekeeper gave her an extra pair of children's slippers. Service is management. It can be seen that the hotel has also put in efforts in training. I don't understand why such a thoughtful hotel still has people give negative reviews. Has your head been caught in the door? 3. Hardware and facilities: Very modern decoration, a business-oriented hotel. Although it is different from modern luxury hotels, it is not inferior at all, and it is not inconsistent with families and children. Bathrooms, etc. are almost all from big brands and of good quality. Although the double bed room I booked is very small, the bathroom is very spacious and the shower room is larger than those at home. Although the sparrow is small, it has all five internal organs and its functions are fully satisfied. The refrigerator, drinks, tea sets, etc. in the room are a plus, better than many Ctrip five-star hotels. 5. Environment and location: Not to mention, it only takes 2-3 minutes to walk to the Confucius Temple and the Qinhuai River boat boarding area. The location is quite advantageous. There is a small restaurant directly opposite the hotel. The food is 40 yuan per person. It is really awesome. There is a time-honored restaurant 200 meters away from the hotel. Dongpo meat, glutinous eel, and Qinhuai eight specialties are all great. The prices here are much lower than in Guangdong. Summary: A great stay experience, worthy of five-star praise and recommendation. Dear friends, please rest assured, it is worth repurchasing!

In terms of transportation, if you come to Nanjing, you should choose to live near Confucius Temple. It's right on the street of Confucius Temple. Walk across the bridge to the Qinhuai River. Take a taxi to the west gate of Bailuzhou Park and you'll be at the hotel in two minutes. It is very close to various attractions and has many check-in points nearby. It takes ten minutes to walk to Laomendong, and half an hour to Xinjiekou, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Meiling Palace, and Wutong Avenue by subway, all of which are within easy reach. The store owners are all young people and are very nice.

The hotel is very close to the Confucius Temple. Just outside the Confucius Temple Commercial Street, you can upgrade to a parent-child room for free. It’s great. Xiaojie has a name that I can’t even pronounce. He has a great attitude. I’ll go to Nanjing again if I have the chance.

The staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. One staff member walked with me to the main street to get a taxi, others booked taxis and helped me with my luggage. The staff were familiar enough with English to be available for advice. The location is convenient for foodstores, street food and other eateries (including a gelato, great for an ice-cream lover like myself! and access to the tourist area around the Confucius Temple. It was my first time to share a lift with a robot!
