Location is good and the room is clean and comfortable. I booked this hotel for two nights. The first night was at Jinling Tower and the second night was at Jinling Hotel which is a separate building. The morning after my first stay, I had some business in the city and needed some extra time to move my luggage from the first room to the second. I called the hotel and reached senior receptionist Echo Xu who allowed me to keep my luggage in the room until I returned at 3 PM. Thanks to her and the rest of the staff at Jinling, I had a pleasant trip and a marvelous stay at Jinling!

Nice Hotel in perfect location, getting a bit old and rooms need a upgrade to modern design. Check in was not good. Waited a very long time as at main check in time only one staff at the counter. Only after complaning a secong staff stop playing on his smartphone did checkin. That is not acceptable, long que at check in and staff ignored the que and play all time on his smartphone

Overall experience was good , rooms are a bit aged. Somehow the water was down on Friday night at 21-00 for 3-4 hours , after 3 calls reception finally answered and said they don’t know why many rooms doesn’t have water. Also suggest to review movie list, half of them are not displayed anymore, or play just 6min and then off; lack of English movies and new releases.

First time to Nanjing, thought about booking one of these Shangri-la, Marriot, Andaz, Kempinski and Intercontinental. Decision was made - Intercontinental, the tallest hotel in the region, closed to metros and local shops. Free upgraded room with sensational view to Xuan Wu Lake, hotel team are all excellent from check-in to check-out. Overall, highly recommended hotel to tourist visiting Nanjing.

The hotel is very well located, near almost everything you want to do downtown. However, as it is near everything, get ready to be awake early by either the noise from the street or people in the corridor, as the walls are thin. The hotel's parking lot is big enough so that you will have no trouble parking your car. The receptionists are very kind, even though they do not speak any English. The TV turns on without reason from time to time, so you better unplug it. As you can see from the pictures, the shower is not the most comfortable, yet it is good enough for a solo traveler. The bed is comfortable, and the room's cleanliness is fine.

Very good hotel which we booked last minute but was a wonderful choice. Near enough to walk to metro (10min) and very good noodles and bao stalls just right next to it. There were also supermarts nearby. Plus point is having 2 toilets, each for each room. To improve: not sure why there is a nespresson machine but no capsules. No teaspoons, no utensils. Just 2 little cups.

Honestly, a bit surprised that this hotel is literally in the city center with such a nice price. It's close to bus stops and subway stations, just follow the map and you will be fine. Extra tip: kinda close to Nanjing Uni, so def you need to check if you like pretty street. The service was nice in the receptionist, initially had a tiny issue bcs they didnt speak english but they quickly used translation app, and one of them was always smiling while helping me, such a nice gesture. They gave me room exactly like I wanted, it's also clean, no smell of cigarette, the toilet and shower are also separated, so you won't deal with wet floor on and on. I read that many travellers were having issue with the toilet, but for me, no issue at all. The cleaning ladies were also quite meticulous imo while cleaning my room. The food was ok, it's chinese-style so probably not for everyone, the variety was also ok.

We have been travelling to several places in China , my wife decided to include Nanjing as part of our trip , she chose the Hilton Nanjing Riverside as the place to stay . What a wonderful reception we received , headed up by the manager Sarina , with her welcoming smile and happy demeanour. From top to bottom the staff were attentive and smiling. My family and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its staff were amazing, they were friendly, efficient and went extra miles in providing the best service. They were accommodating and always met our requests and expectations. Otherwise, the hotel has very high standards in its room and other facilities. Its proximity to shops and restaurants and indeed all other conveniences such as banks and metro made it a true top choice in any sense. It is worth noting that it went to great lengths in conyacting us for an item left behind after we checked out. also worthy of note is Miss Fanny who is truly caring and made us feel warmly welcomed from day one. Great room: extremely large and spacious for the location and price! Large bathroom with shower and tub, and a very nice view. Comfortable bedding and clean room. Excellent location right downtown. Swimming pool on the roof is not air conditioned but it's nice otherwise. Breakfast is a little lackluster and front desk service could be friendlier, but overall very good value for money. We will return when in Nanjing again.

A very good travel experience. The location of Zhuangyuan Building is very good, right next to the Confucius Temple archway. I’ve never had a bad stay at a Kempinski hotel and this one was no exception. Beautifully appointed room, friendly and professional service, a delicious breakfast etc. If I was to really critique I would say I was surprised to find partly melted ice in the room’s ice bucket and also that I do personally like to have a mirror in the shower cubicle for when I shave. This is being incredibly picky though and neither of these things affected my stay in the slightest.

The building is so high! The lobby is on the 43rd floor and the guest rooms are on the 46th floor. The view is really high! The weather is nice and you can see the perfect sunrise! Waking up early and having breakfast with the sunrise is a unique experience. The location is great, with subways extending in all directions, so you can go anywhere. It feels more convenient than taking a taxi. It's just that the hotel facilities are a bit old and the air conditioning is not very hot. During the coldest days in Nanjing, the air conditioning was really average. It was so cold that we asked the hotel to add quilts to sleep better at night. I watched a concert at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. After it was over, I didn’t have time to rush to Nanjing South Railway Station to return to Shanghai, so I searched for a hotel nearby. I took the subway for two stops to Nanjing University of Technology and walked for another 8 minutes to the hotel. Crystal Orange is a chain, and there are basically no problems with the hardware (occasionally some small areas are damaged, which is normal, and it is not a five-star hotel). There are no restaurants around the hotel, and there is a small supermarket downstairs. If you stay temporarily for one night, you only need instant noodles. That’s it. The front desk also upgraded the room type for free, which is more than 400 yuan, which is really good value for money. Also, I didn’t bring a charger, so the front desk helped me find an Apple charging cable, which is very user-friendly.
