Unfortunately, we can only discourage you from staying at this hotel. We stayed here for a total of five nights and were looking forward to a relaxing stay with great service. Regrettably, we were very disappointed and have never felt so badly taken advantage of. The rooms and complex are very nicely kept - but unfortunately the pool is hardly usable and there is no proper beach at the complex. For the private beach you have to take a boat to a neighboring island. In addition, the hotel generally focuses on Italian and French guests - English-speaking guests are much less well treated here. The choice of dinner must be made in the morning, whereby a 3-course menu is provided. This is basically okay in order to avoid wastage. However, my wife and I usually only chose one main course (and in exceptional cases also a dessert) - but we were still charged the price for all three courses, which we found more than impertinent - especially when this order is already placed in the morning. What struck us as unacceptable, however, was the way the airport transfer was organized. The day before our departure we ordered a transfer to the airport: we were told that this would cost 100,000 Ariary. At check-out, however, we were then charged 236,000 Ariary without any explanation. When asked about this, we were only told that there was no way of knowing what had happened the day before. There has also been no response to a subsequent email to date (two weeks ago). It is very shocking that the hotel is trying to profit from its guests in such a malicious way and unfortunately leaves us with a very bad impression. Even though we are normally convinced that hotels and restaurants are a matter of personal taste and can appeal to different people in different ways, we are convinced that such behavior cannot be excused in any way - which is why we have decided to leave a this review in order to spare other guests such a terrible experience.

There are good points and bad points... Firstly, The staff were very friendly and they tried their best. The location is really good. The upkeep is good although could do with some improvement. The garden pool and rooms are excellent. The bed was very comfy. We were offered an upgrade and immediately regretted it. As the bed was not as comfy and the bedding very old and worn. The new room had bugs which kept biting us at night. They weren't mosquitos so maybe fleas or bed bugs. The main pool got cleaned whilst we were there but within days it was building up.with mould again. Dinner way too late on occasions we only ate after 8.30. The food was generally OK. Mostly Italian food. They do need to cover food as flies tended to sit on the food. Especially the morning fruit. The chocolate tart caused a great amusement with the staff and guests as it was so hard you couldn't even cut it ... but a new dessert was brought out. The maitre de was excellent and had a great sense of humour. Food hygiene and handling needs some attention as one staff member put his hands into the bowl of nuts and ate some to taste them then served them onto plates with his hands without washing hands etc. No English translations and Google translate didn't always work but the staff tried their best. Very italian based hotel. If an Italian group was in we were pushed aside and had to fit in with their requirements. We couldn't book or get into excursions. The private beach wasn't raked and was full of sandflies. The massage therapists were incredible - big thumbs up. The hotel could do with offering smaller change as we only had large value money. Thus tipped too much when out and about. The hotel transfer was terrible.. the first car seemed to have transmission problems and the return car had to be pushed started and then stalled along our route. It also had a loose wheel we feared for our lives. This is a point as we had booked excursions with a different company and their vehicle was air conned and its upkeep.was great . The transfers should be better.

Very welcoming resort, friendly and smiling staff. Beautiful and always well-kept gardens. Varied and very tasty food. Excellent buffets. Friendly staff who accompany you to the private island twice a day. Diving organized and very helpful. For external excursions we relied on Alberto Tour Nosy Be who led us to discover the fantastic places of this magical island. Visits organized with care, delicious dishes and attention to every need. I recommend everyone to go there once in their life.

It's a quiet resort with simple amenities. The customers are almost all Italian. There are 2 swimming pools, but the beach in front is NOT suitable for swimming and snorkeling. There are 2 suites, with private jacuzzi and bidet in the bathroom. They offer various nice excursions and there is also a simple and basic message centre. The restaurant service is good. Both at the bar and in the reception, as well as in the restaurant, everyone is very kind and helpful. Perhaps the only ones who are a little more "inefficient" are the (Italian) managers who manage the structure and the diving, who seem to have adapted a little too much to the local mora mora :):) At the restaurant the menu varies every day and if If you don't like it, you can always ask for something simpler or suitable for children (like pasta or zebu or chicken steak). They also have some "special" dishes that you pay for separately. The facility is not supplied with first aid material (they don't even have a plaster, so to speak) so bring a minimum of first aid kit and obviously any medicines you may need. The wifi DOES NOT work in the rooms adjacent to the upper pool (those behind the reception). It is good to know that in general you need CASH for both the resort shop and the extras on the excursions, and that practically all the shops in the area (with the exception of a few pharmacies) DO NOT accept credit cards. And the closest ATM (which does NOT always work) is 15 minutes away by car. Tips for waiters and guides can be from 20 to 100 thousand Ariary, depending on how generous you want to be. As usual, it is recommended to bring something for the premises, such as clothing, medicines that do not require a medical prescription and simple toys.

Simple Malagasy-style hotel, directly on the sea .. Waking up with a fiery red sunset surrounded by silence .. It was the best holiday of my life (and I travel a lot), thanks above all to our local guide Alberto .. his number, if you really want to get to know Madagascar, off the beaten path .. 00261320401164 Alberto Anjara. It also has a website and Facebook .. (NOSY BE TOUR)

A nosy be contrairement à nosy komba! HONTEUX

Struttura molto bella, giardinieri sempre all'opera per tenere tutto curato e in ordine.

Ci torneremo sicuramente.
