Last weekend, I was injured in a sports match and couldn't find an emergency outpatient clinic, so I wanted to sleep anymore, but I was taken care of by the reservation on the day. I was resting in the room by telling the front desk of the night shift who was in charge of check-in and the manager in the back about the injury. I couldn't stand the pain in the middle of the night and took a taxi to an emergency outpatient hospital. When I went to the hospital and returned to the hotel, there was no staff at the front desk. When I checked out the next morning, the female staff at the front desk in the morning (two people) asked me about my condition and told me that I had taken an emergency outpatient in the middle of the night. It was raining and I had a heavy Boston bag, so the front desk staff arranged a taxi and carried the Boston bag to the taxi. I am just impressed by your kindness. Thank you very much. I got injured while playing a team sport over the weekend and we struggled with finding an emergency hospital. Then I wanted to rest on a bed, so walking into the hotel and got a room. I told the night shift receptionist and duty manager what had happened, and went to the room to rest. But over the night, pains hit me hard and I couldn't stand any more so went to an emergency hospital on my own. When leaving the hotel or coming back, reception staff members were in the back office. The following morning, when checking out, two young receptionists who were in a morning shift asked me how I was feeling. I told them that I had been to the emergency hospital over night and other circumstances. It was raining at the time and I had a big Boston bag, so one of them organized a taxi. And she carried the bag to the taxi. I am really pleased to your staff members' kindness and great services. Thank you very much for wonderful and professional attitudes!

Miyoshi House

It was a sudden reservation. Because it was an apartment system, I was a little worried about cleanliness and facilities New, clean and cheap! Cleaning is also clean, amenities are all necessary, and the room is large and easy to spend even in a family of 5! TV is also comfortable to see Netflix and YouTube. The owner also responded well despite being kind and late when I was in trouble. Total is very satisfied, but that is the reason why the most satisfying. The location was a bit far from the city but we were fine because it was used by private car! I think it's within 10 minutes from Nanba. I want to use it again! Thank you!

The transportation is convenient. It only takes about 15 minutes to get to Namba and Shinsaibashi, and it only takes an hour to get to the airport. The room was clean, the internet problem was solved quickly, and the experience was very good.

Guide for Travelling in Osaka

Introduction to Osaka

Osaka, Japan's third-largest city, is a dynamic metropolis known for its modern architecture, lively nightlife, and hearty street food culture. It is located in the Kansai region on the main island of Honshu. Osaka's friendly locals and a myriad of attractions, including historic landmarks, theme parks, and shopping districts, provide a compelling contrast to Tokyo's hustle and bustle.

Tips for Travelling to Osaka

Osaka is served by two airports: Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport, with Kansai being the primary gateway for international travelers. The city has an excellent public transportation system, including JR trains, subways, and buses. Japan's famous bullet trains also connect Osaka with other major cities.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY), and while credit cards are widely accepted, it's worth carrying some cash for smaller establishments. The official language is Japanese, and while English is not commonly spoken by older locals, younger generations and service staff at tourist attractions usually have a good understanding.

Visa requirements for Japan vary depending on your country of origin, so always check in advance. Many countries enjoy visa-free access for short-term visits.

Popular Attractions in Osaka

Dotonbori is Osaka's entertainment heart, with its iconic Glico Man sign, an array of restaurants, and exciting street performances. A visit to Osaka Castle, one of Japan's most famous landmarks, is essential.

Universal Studios Japan, a popular theme park featuring Harry Potter World, is a favorite among families. Explore the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the largest public aquariums in the world, or shop 'til you drop in the Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Osaka experiences four distinct seasons. The spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are the best times to visit, with pleasant temperatures and beautiful cherry blossoms or fall colors. Summers can be hot and humid, while winters are mild but chilly. Depending on the season of your visit, pack accordingly - light, breathable clothing for summer, and warm layers for winter.
