Osaka|0.13km from JR Shin-Imamiya Station
I used it with my family. When my wife was asked for an ID card when I issued a welcome coupon in Osaka at check-in, I was explained that I couldn't issue a coupon when I told her that I forgot the two preschoolers. Since I came from afar, I checked if I could respond by email at a later date, and my wife was shocked by the cold saying, ”I have no choice but to go back to pick it up.” It's important to say it. In the meantime, the front staff was grinning while chatting all the time in the counter while being overturned by the child who was rubbing. In addition to us, families with small children who were asked for ID cards were looking for the suitcase in the same way, and the child was crying loudly during that time, but the front desk 々 was an inner circle talk. Flower It was blooming. I was disappointed that the rumored Hoshino Resorts responded below the business hotel around it. When I entered the room, there was not enough slippers for children, and the only amenities were towels, and I hurriedly went down to the lobby to get my room clothes and toothbrush, but the front desk was still chatting. It's a comedy city. It's good to have fun working. It seems that he forgot even the explanation of the amenities. When I checked with the front desk to rent a step stand because the child did not reach the wash basin, I replied, ”I am not ready”, and it seems that Hoshino Resort is not ready even though it can be borrowed in the national lodging. Well, it was as expected that I was watching the miscellaneous response at check-in. At least I was expecting only rice, but when I went to eat breakfast, I was told to issue a breakfast ticket at the dining room. I wondered if I didn't remember getting such a thing, and when I searched for a room, there was one of the same styles as the receipt. I was about to throw it away by mistake as garbage. Then, when I went to the dining room again, I was confirmed, ”Is there only one? What is the age of the child later?” When I told him that one person was 5 years old, he was told that there would be an additional charge, and my eyes were focused. When I checked at the front desk, it was said that there would be an additional charge from the age of 5. I read a confirmation email with my eyes on a plate, but I didn't write a word about that. Well, it's not that expensive, so I paid for breakfast, but the number of items is small! It's not surprisingly delicious! Rice smells! My child didn't eat at all, so I hurriedly bought rice balls at a convenience store and let them eat. Everything was too terrible, so I lost my mind to go sightseeing and went home as it was. Before that, I stayed at a hotel near Univa for 2 nights, but it was considerably cheaper and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was also better there. It was wise to stay there for three consecutive nights without changing the inn poorly. I learned.

Hotel in Osaka, Nishinari. Still new and clean. It is convenient to walk from Shin Imamiya Station. Stay in a single room for 3000 yen per night. Foreign guests stood out. The room is flooring with a narrow bed and a very small table and small TV and a refrigerator and spotlight and trash can. Toilet is joint. One floor (about 20 rooms). Since the wash is only one place in the toilet, it is inconvenient for toothbrushing or face washing. If it is crowded, it becomes a procession, and it becomes worried about the cheek. I left before 6 o'clock in the early morning, so there was no problem. The bath has a large bath and a shower room. Somehow, the large bath passes from the location pattern and the atmosphere with many foreigners and uses the shower. It is a negative point that I heard the voice from the surrounding room well, but it is 〇 with price and convenience.

It seems that it has been renovated, and the front desk, lobby and rooms are clean. JR It's just outside Shin Imamiya Station, and it's cheap if you just stay. However, what you have to understand is that there are no toilets or baths in the room. The toilet is a shared toilet (by men and women) on the floor 1. The bath will be used in a large communal bath or a shower room. The room I used was a tatami room with 3 tatami mats. A set of futons. I used it because there was no place that was already open on Saturday, but if there is no place to stay, I think it is OK at all. Anyway, the price is cheap, so you can understand that area. Even on Saturday, it was 3800 yen. Private is protected firmly, so it's definitely better than a capsule hotel. Recommended for backpackers. Therefore, it seems that there are many young students, consecutive nights related to construction, and foreigners. However, I'm not sure, but is it only me who feels that the lobby and shower room are also used by people other than guests?

Chisun Standard Osaka Shin-Imamiya

I stayed at the Chisan Standard Osaka Shin Imamiya, which opened on February 25, 2022, on March 4, immediately after using the special plan for the opening. When I thought it was strange because there was a wound or dirt at the opening, it was a signboard replacement. The twin room with two single beds felt the walls were black and white. There is a space to hang clothes on the right side of the entrance, and a refrigerator is placed on the floor below it, but there is no door. Take what you need at the front desk except for toothbrush. The unit bus is not narrow, but there was a step of about 30cm at the entrance and I was careful not to fall. The room clothes and phone were next to the elevator. Breakfast was a restaurant on the 2 floor, a bright and relaxing seat arrangement, buffet style. There is a splendid locker on the 1 floor.

My first stay during my first trip to Japan. It was Spring 2018. I was excited because my little room was a tatami floored room. The small room was a basic room for two guests. There was only one plug point to charge our many electrical gadgets, so oh boy im glad i brought along a plug socket with 4-5 outlets. The room was too small for even the two small Asians like us. we have no place to put our backpacks (there were only two bags but) once we spread the futons. This small room actually suitable for a single guest. The bathrooms and toilets are normally clean for Japanese standards. You have to pay separate charge for your towels. Our room situated on the 4 or 5th floor i cant remember but there was only one floor for lady's bathroom - the hostel got about 40 to 50 rooms but there are only 2-3 bathrooms for ladies to share. I woke up very early to take bath but was very disappointing to see the long queue of Japanese female workers who unable to go home and slept here for the night. Imagine the long hours i have to wait to get my turn. sometimes i tried to go to another level to try the unisex bathrooms but they were definitely full with guys. The pantry on the ground floor offered hot water with 3-in-1 drinks. there are vending machines for you to buy mineral water or soda or sweet drinks. The walls between the room are super thin and you can hear everything loud and clear. The door is made of steel so when someone close it with a bang it can be very annoying. Well we were kind of grateful (feeling console?) that the room got a mini fridge. And that the hostel is near to the train station. I'm coming back to Osaka soon but nope, I'm not going to coming back to this hostel just to get myself headaches for the bathrooms. The friend who booked this hostel for us thought we wanted the cheapest room in Osaka and she never asked us about the quality of the service. Well this is the negative side of coming to Japan in Spring i guess. Everything comes in expensive price.

Guide for Travelling in Osaka

Introduction to Osaka

Osaka, Japan's third-largest city, is a dynamic metropolis known for its modern architecture, lively nightlife, and hearty street food culture. It is located in the Kansai region on the main island of Honshu. Osaka's friendly locals and a myriad of attractions, including historic landmarks, theme parks, and shopping districts, provide a compelling contrast to Tokyo's hustle and bustle.

Tips for Travelling to Osaka

Osaka is served by two airports: Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport, with Kansai being the primary gateway for international travelers. The city has an excellent public transportation system, including JR trains, subways, and buses. Japan's famous bullet trains also connect Osaka with other major cities.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY), and while credit cards are widely accepted, it's worth carrying some cash for smaller establishments. The official language is Japanese, and while English is not commonly spoken by older locals, younger generations and service staff at tourist attractions usually have a good understanding.

Visa requirements for Japan vary depending on your country of origin, so always check in advance. Many countries enjoy visa-free access for short-term visits.

Popular Attractions in Osaka

Dotonbori is Osaka's entertainment heart, with its iconic Glico Man sign, an array of restaurants, and exciting street performances. A visit to Osaka Castle, one of Japan's most famous landmarks, is essential.

Universal Studios Japan, a popular theme park featuring Harry Potter World, is a favorite among families. Explore the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the largest public aquariums in the world, or shop 'til you drop in the Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Osaka experiences four distinct seasons. The spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are the best times to visit, with pleasant temperatures and beautiful cherry blossoms or fall colors. Summers can be hot and humid, while winters are mild but chilly. Depending on the season of your visit, pack accordingly - light, breathable clothing for summer, and warm layers for winter.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Osaka

Osaka offers a wide range of accommodations to suit different travel needs. If you're looking for luxury near attractions, the Intercontinental Osaka in Umeda or Conrad Osaka offer top-notch services and amenities. The Swissotel Nankai Osaka is conveniently located above Nankai Namba Station for easy transportation access.
