Shin-Osaka Sunny Stone Hotel

Business hotel near Minami Station. There are many convenience stores and restaurants around, and there is no problem with the location. The building is a bit old, but you can see that the facilities are renewed. There was no problem with the sound of the next room. The size of the room doesn't feel so small, but the bathroom is quite small. When I accidentally left the toilet, my body hit the washlet switch and I started it without sitting down. Overall, considering the price, the next hotel is an ant.

The hotel is old and old, and the facilities are all available. The price of family travel can be booked in a three-bed room.

Although it was a corona disaster, I stayed at a cheap price that I'm sorry. If you stay overnight, you can only clean 3 1 times a day (towels and amenities can be replenished every day), or there is a microwave oven right at the entrance of the hotel, so if you warm your lunch there, it will be a focus. (There is also a microwave oven on the floor, which is not visible), or the older sister of Wakaba Mark at the reception responds while turning the pen, or the price destruction that doesn't bother you at all. Of course, it is shiny and clean for a new hotel. The interior of the room is also chic and calm color. I felt that the electric kettle had weak power and it took time to boil, but the dryer felt powerful. The tea on the first floor is not a tea bag type, but a type that melts powder. It feels like Shin-Osaka Station is close, but the ticket gates on the JR conventional line are surprisingly far away, so it is safer to use a taxi or go to the south of Nishinakajima on a rainy day.

Really nice and friendly staff. The room was spacious and with the regular things such as: tooth brush and mini paste, tea and kettle that didn't work, (but it's ok), slippers and so. They gave me a folder with the regulation in English and in one section says to leave all your valuables in a safe at the reception. I did, but it wasn't necessary, as at the reception the staff they gave me puzzled looks, while I was following what was written. I tried to tell them, but the staff at the moment had a broken English and my Japanese was very basic. So I let it be and put it on the safe, since I was already there. But there is no need for it at all. The room is safe enough and if in doubt then put a Do Not Disturb sign at the door to avoid the house cleaners to go inside. I love the toilet that has the jet water button that you can press, after you finish your business and clean your butt. Supper cool!! There is a small fridge as well. The part that I didn't like is that the Onsen is just for Males. As a Female, that was really annoying and insulting because I really wanted to go. They gave me a small ”token”, face wash as an apology for the inconvenience. But overall is a nice hotel. The staff is super friendly.

The cospa is too good. I've been staying there since today, but The entrance and rooms are all clean The hotel is more polite and kind The room is small but rather cozy. Convenient because there is a bath in the room There is a large communal bath There is a coin laundry. This is really convenient Amenity is substantial There is a pot, refrigerator, and air purifier in the room properly Iron rental I happened to make a reservation on a cheap day, so This is about 30,000 yen in a week. To be honest, I was worried about the atmosphere of other guests because it was cheap, but there are only ordinary people who are clean at all, and I haven't seen any people who feel strange. The room is similar to the APA. It feels a little narrow. Rather, it was cozy and I was able to work enough in the room. The cospa is really too good If it's close, I'll use it insanely.

I was able to stay overnight with a same-day reservation. The front desk was very polite and I felt at ease. However, there were a lot of people from overseas staying there, and I could hear people talking in the hallways even at night, making it a little difficult to sleep. However, other than that, it was a very good hotel. I will be using this again!

More about Osaka

Introduction to Osaka

Osaka, Japan's third-largest city, is a dynamic metropolis known for its modern architecture, lively nightlife, and hearty street food culture. It is located in the Kansai region on the main island of Honshu. Osaka's friendly locals and a myriad of attractions, including historic landmarks, theme parks, and shopping districts, provide a compelling contrast to Tokyo's hustle and bustle.

Tips for Travelling to Osaka

Osaka is served by two airports: Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport, with Kansai being the primary gateway for international travelers. The city has an excellent public transportation system, including JR trains, subways, and buses. Japan's famous bullet trains also connect Osaka with other major cities.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY), and while credit cards are widely accepted, it's worth carrying some cash for smaller establishments. The official language is Japanese, and while English is not commonly spoken by older locals, younger generations and service staff at tourist attractions usually have a good understanding.

Visa requirements for Japan vary depending on your country of origin, so always check in advance. Many countries enjoy visa-free access for short-term visits.

Popular Attractions in Osaka

Dotonbori is Osaka's entertainment heart, with its iconic Glico Man sign, an array of restaurants, and exciting street performances. A visit to Osaka Castle, one of Japan's most famous landmarks, is essential.

Universal Studios Japan, a popular theme park featuring Harry Potter World, is a favorite among families. Explore the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the largest public aquariums in the world, or shop 'til you drop in the Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Osaka experiences four distinct seasons. The spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are the best times to visit, with pleasant temperatures and beautiful cherry blossoms or fall colors. Summers can be hot and humid, while winters are mild but chilly. Depending on the season of your visit, pack accordingly - light, breathable clothing for summer, and warm layers for winter.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Osaka

Osaka offers a wide range of accommodations to suit different travel needs. If you're looking for luxury near attractions, the Intercontinental Osaka in Umeda or Conrad Osaka offer top-notch services and amenities. The Swissotel Nankai Osaka is conveniently located above Nankai Namba Station for easy transportation access.

Budget travelers might find Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka or Hearton Hotel Kitaumeda appealing. Instagrammers would love Hotel The Flag Shinsaibashi, recognized for its minimalist design and excellent location.
