Cornerway House

We stayed at the Cornerway House as part of a roundtrip. The moment we arrived it felt like we came home to our family house. It was a warm welcome, we felt safe and have had amazing nights of sleep. Nice fresh fruits, yoghurt and juices with the breakfast. And the host gives you good recommendations in the area. We would recommend 10/10!

Very enjoyable stay at this comfortable bed & breakfast. The room was kept to a high standard everyday by the staff and the bathroom facilities were excellent (i.e particularly the shower and constant hot water). Tea & coffee facilities available in room (used) together with rusks (yummy). Breakfast was delicious and cooked freshly to order by very friendly staff, they went out of their way to cook me porridge every day. Cathy the host was absolutely delightful, she was professional, helpful and knowledgeable at all times and nothing was ever too much trouble. Would highly recommend this B & B.

We loved our stay at the Cornerway House. Beautiful apar**ent, with a picture perfect garden, pool and delicious breakfast. The staff was very warm and welcoming. We would love to go back in the future!

The Verandah room was beautiful and clean and I was allowed to bring my kitten, which was great. However, on Day 2 the lady misheard my mom's breakfast order and only brought 1 egg and 1 sausage: when informed she said they already packed up so my mom had a tiny breakfast. On the last day, the owner asked at breakfast if we are in Verandah room, and then commented in front of other guests he removed it because it is wetting his verandah chairs. It was unnecessary since there are only 2 towel racks in the room which accommodates 3 people. He is not very friendly and to be paying for a breakfast and be told they cannot make it is not okay. The one day our room was also not made up. The lady owner is awesomeand super friendly, but her husband is not.

Lovely cottages in a beautiful,romantic garden. Very friendly staff. Attention to detail. Very convieniently situated- close to the beach and in easy distance to shops and restaurants-I would anytime come back! Conny K.

Spent two nights here and would recommend it. We were made very welcome immediately, the ambience created by the lovely garden hidden from the street is very peaceful. Our room had plenty space and very comfortable bed and nice shower/toilet facility. TV/fridge/hairdryer/kettle and wifi all provided. Breakfast cooked to order. Really liked it.

We stayed three nights in this beautiful and friendly guesthouse. Relaxing and quiet. Great hosts. We followed all their recommendations and ended up experiencing the best of Plettenberg and surroundings. Spacious room with great beds. Love to go back

I had a wonderful time at the Cornerway House. The place was lovely arranged and decorated, the staff and the owners were lovely and very helpful. Only my stay was to short. I would definitely recommend to go there as I did already.

Very cozy and well-kept property. Full of flowers and little chill-out spots. The rooms were nicely furnished, clean and the hostess was very nice. There are also parking spaces on the property. We would come again!
