Excellent overall experience, cleanliness was excellent that made a difference to me Service was friendly and pools was neat and cleaned. It was definitely value for money Merry Pebbles will definitely see me soon again for another vacation

We enjoyed the stay at Merry Pebbles. Initially we were going to camp, however it rained and we decided to upgrade to a chalet. The upgrade was done effortlessly. Ideally situated for sight seeing around the area. Will be back.

Merry Pebbles is the place to be if you want to relax. Accommodations and staff are wonderful. Lots of places to visit in surounding area even if it rains, never have we had nothing to do. The resort itself has beautiful pools, hot and cold and the river for tube riding is good to keep kids entertained. Restaurant on site has excellent food as well for the lazy days!

We arrived at the resort just after 5pm and was handed our keys with a map of where our unit was and a map of the various sites in the area. We noticed the shop was well stocked. When we got to our cabana, the unit was very clean, with a chocolate for each of us, some rusks and tea/coffee packs. The resort is very tranquil. It is close to every site in the lowveld.

Lush green Property is beutiful and well kept so are the units as well as ablutions.staff and owners friendly and accommodating.the people there are just different..evan though there are many beutiful attractions nearby you can really enjoy the property with out going anywhere its that good!! So sad to leave..defenatley planning a 3 week holiday here...you need minium 2 weeks in this area 7 days is by far not enough....

Everything you need to have a wonderful holiday: a shop, liquor store, restaurant, hot and cold water swimming pools, entertainment, comfy rooms, beautiful setting. Service is great, hosts are super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay perfect, rooms are well maintained and the gardens are well manicured. Highly recommended, we look forward to return soon!

We camped at Merry Pebbles over the weekend. Great Resort, well maintained in a peaceful setting. It was very hot though and unfortunately the swimming pools gave everybody chemical burns and rashes. We had the same issue when camping there previously. I asked the owner upon arrival whether the matter had been resolved. To which he stated that it had. Clearly this is an ongoing concern and I would not recommend the resort if you want to spend time swimming especially with smaller kids. Other than that, a great place.

our overall stay were pleasant, the restaurant on the property gives you good value for your money,friendly staff.
Just be aware you have to make your own bed and wash your dishes:(:(:(

Only drawback was that the couch was past its use-by-date. They may need to invest in a new one for River Cottage #23. The toilet holder and outside light that fused were not seen to during our stay; so they may be slow in maintenance.
