Excellent location for travelers flying in and out of SBP airport. Rooms are clean and spacious and the 24hr reception is a plus for those red eye flights. There is a supermarket across the road (Ralph’s) for last minute purchases.

Trip dot.com vertical card was denied so I was charged and when I called the hotel and I asked why they said they would call trip.com and ask about it. I asked if I would get a call back and was told “NO, I HAVE OTHER THINGS TO DO.”

Barely enough staff, so checkin took 25 minutes. Not enough breakfast food. TV did not have volume. Shower was broken. The area was loud and packed with retail chains. We would not choose this hotel again.

Okay but not as good as other hotels from Best Western Plus. Noisy squeaky doors and non-functional bath tub. Possibly old property and not maintained properly. Rest all amenities and food was great.

My stay at the BW Plus Royal Oak hotel in SLO was great. The entire staff was wonderful. Check-in was perfect, the staff was so friendly and inviting. The staff during the free breakfast was also super accommodating, friendly and helpful.

From the moment I arrived I was created by the friendly hotel receptionists, check in was quick and easy. My room was clean very nice appreciated the microwave, mini fridge, and coffee machine inside the room, also loved that the room had a balcony where you could sit and relax have choice in the morning, hotel was nice had a pool and heated jacuzzi. Also wonderful detail they had free breakfast even include masks your own waffle section.All the employees encountered on my week stay were very friendly and always helpful great customer service so definitely be staying here again.

Enjoyed the coffee/hot chocolate machine and the breakfast. Room near the road was a bit noisy. Pillows a bit lumpy. Simple room but okay.
