MGM Grand Sanya

We loved our stay here, the hotel is amazing! The view from every room is magnificent, and the beach is pristine. We were especially impressed with the service and hospitality - we loved our personal concierge Jelly! She promptly took care of everything we needed and she made our stay there especially pleasant. Her service and her attitude were very impressive! We will definitely come back!

If you like hotels with many activities then MGM is right hotel for you. Water sports on the beach, zip line, adventure park, surfing, ... The pools water is very warm and you have to be fast to catch the chairs around the pool. The gym on others side needs an upgrade, equipment ist old, rusty and treadmill make squeaky sounds while using. Breakfast is good but need go very early... As foreigners get the contact from Candy at reservation and she will help you with all requests.

We stayed there as a family with 2 kids. Everywhere and every hours we could find enjoyable activities for them , kids never bored. Reaching to beach or pool is so easy. Restaurant and meal options are so rich. All nights you can enjoy shows from talented team. Hotel staffs are so helpful and kind. some of them did their best always to make us satisfied. Especially 魏敏 Wei Min helped us a lot. We are so thankful to her and her all kind colleagues.

We love MGM Sanya. It is a family hotel with lots of if kids. I came here with my wife and it’s totally fine too. We traveled around China and stayed in all 5 stars hotel and this is much wife’s favorite. The view from our room is amazing. It’s garden and Mountain View. We enjoyed the pool and beach. There’s show at night and the breakfast is one of the best. It’s very clean and although the hotel is over 10 years but it still looks new. Friendly staffs and it’s one of the place we would come back again. Glad we pick this hotel.

I booked the hotel for my 3 days holiday. I would say this was a memorable experience for me at MGM. It has a great location at Yalong Bay, with just a few minutes walk to the beach. The outdoor of the hotel looks like a waterworld park, with a lot of swimming & sunbathing places, and even a small water playground for kids. I enjoyed the surf experience in the hotel. Room was very clean, and tidy, and up to standard. We were staying in the lagoon room, with a swimming pool in the front. The pool water was very clean. The breakfast buffet includes a wide variety of both Western and Chinese foods. Staff were super nice and really helpful especially Jelly Shen, who ensured a smooth transition of our room. She provided the flexibility and arranged different outdoor activities for us since we are not good in mandarin, and also provided sightseeing advices within the area. In these 3 days, she was more like a friend of us, provided exceptional support for our need. This was one of our best travel experience we had ever. I would highly recommended to stay here for those who like water activities or with kids.

Good location, lots of activities and decent food. Bbq buffet was very good but expensive. Bathroom lights were to dark.

We booked 2 room of luxurious ocean view, the view was absolutely amazing so is the room facilities. Since it is really close to the beach we were able to experience the beach fully! Also, the weather is lovely when we were there. Additionally, the buffet breakfast was what we loved the most! This hotel is really children and per friendly as i know. Jelly, the person who was responsible for our journey helped us 24/7, which was really helpful for us. We got to ask her everything we were not sure. 100% sure we would visit MGM again some day!!

This was a fantastic hotel. Lots of ammenities and beautiful beach. being sanya things are more costly so do prepare for that. the rooms where suberb and a lovely view of the ocean. the bath was over looking the ocean. fantastic food at the hotel with western options. There is also a foodcourt about 500 metres away that had amazing BBQ and was affordable. I would definately recommend it. also a petting area for cute animals that you pay a fee to enter . a fun place to visit

It was the best hotel we’ve been in China! Great big rooms with 2 armchairs, spacious bathroom and balcony. Many pools (2 big with warm water - 29 degrees, that is perfect for kids). Very nice beach with fine sand. BUT the best what made our vacations great was service of the hotel! Special thanks to Dorothy - girl at the reception, who speak fluently in English and solving all our requests in a minutes!!! She helped us with services of the hotel, with recommendations of the shops, restaurant, bars, place to visit, buying the tickets for the show! That kind of help is priceless, especially in China!
