This may be the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in during my time in Japan; the design is modern, the buffet is wonderful (although a little pricy) and the view of Odori park was great. I especially enjoyed the bath, as it was separate from the toilet, which is rare for smaller hotel rooms in this country. The staff were very kind and understanding, as I had asked for my luggage to be held until 3 pm but I didn’t retrieve it till much later with no issue. I stayed in the standard queen room and got more than I expected. Would recommend heartily!

Great place! Excellent breakfast! Good service! The hotel is short walk from nakajima koen station, we selected this hotel so we can still see cherry blossoms and it was worth it. The hotel itself is a bit old but still very clean and in good condition. Breakfast includes different varieties of japanese and french pastries. Staffs are very accommodating and courteous. If you have the budget must try 21club wagyu steak.

在札幌車站有免費接駁車到酒店, 房間空間比普通商務酒店大一點, 都算寬敞, 浴室挺大的, 整體來說很舒適。酒店大堂有手信店也很方便。步行10分鐘就是狸小路商店街。 最後一晚入住高樓層的豪華房型, 有專用升降機, 房間非常大, 有按摩浴缸。早餐會場是在酒店最高層的餐廳內享用, 風景十分怡人, 可以看到遠處的日本海和十勝山嶽。早餐沒有算很豐富, 但菜式挺高級的, 有魚子和章魚刺身, 現場料理的奄列也很好吃, 有一位廚師還很熱情的介紹酒店外的風景。 溫泉要另外付500日元, 我每天都很晚回酒店所以沒有去泡。 缺點是酒店位置離札幌車站有段距離, 而接駁車衹到下午5點, 需要轉坐路麪電車才能回到酒店。自駕的話一晚1500日元停車費。還有check out時某位女前台的態度不太好, 有點小扣分。 整體來說是一間值得推薦的酒店, 可以趁現在使用政府的地震復興優惠捲來北海道玩!

It is located in the centre of Sapporo City. 10 minutes walk North you will find JR Sapporo Station and 10 minutes South you will find the busy commercial district of Susukino. If you are travel from the airport, the airport Liner bus stop is right in front of the hotel but the journey will take more than 90 minutes as there are quite a few stops before arriving at the hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Be sure to book the breakfast if available. It costs 3300Yen if pay separately at the hotel but the breakfast at the Northern Terrace is one of the best buffet breakfast I have ever tasted.

There is no drive way lobby, so it can be confusing to enter the hotel. You got to get your luggage off the taxi stand, before parking your vehicle in another building. The hotel and the room look better than in the advertise photo. Located in a good location in the middle of Susukino, many minimart near the hotel, train and streetcar station, restaurants, shopping mall and able to walk to Tanukikoji shopping street. We got a room with tatami area for 3 people, the room was big, a slide door separate area of bath and toilet from the sleeping area. There is a commune bath but there is only room so have to switch the timetable of men and women. but in the room also have a bath tub. There are relax area with massage chairs, TV and big comfy chairs. The hotel has very limited parking lot, they suggest to a parking building opposite the hotel but lots of traffic in the parking lot. The staffs were nice, they taking care of us with the travel information and the luggage, even their English were not so good but they were willing to help.

Spent 2 nights at the Livemax Hotel in one of the smallest rooms I’ve ever rented. At probably a little over 100 sqft, it was about $1.50/sqft per night. Service was limited. On check-in, you receive a complementary bottle of water. When I went to ask for another bottle on the second day, using Google Translate, “oh, you mean a plastic bottle of water”, the desk informed me there was a vending machine on the 2nd floor. I even offered to pay her for the bottle she had in her hand. No luck. I was surprised at the TripAdvisor ratings on this hotel (4). I gave it a 2 only because it was fairly new (taxi drivers don’t know the location) and in pretty good condition. With the impending 2020 summer olympics, the hotel chain will need to up their game, particularly with English language skills for the tourists they’re expecting.

This’s my first capsule hotel so everything was new to me. You literally get a bed with small locker at the top and big locker under bed. When u check in, u get a pair of slippers and a towel. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom in the common area has six sinks and it was not crowded at all. There are washers n dryers which were super convenient. There’s a hugh common area but I never saw anyone sitting there. People were quiet and respected the space. However there was one American lady who was on the phone n everyone could hear every word she said. Finally, after an hr, I asked her to be quiet n she immediately cut the talk. I enjoyed my stay. For US$49 for three nights at the heart of Sapporo, there’s no better deal.
