The Inn at Turtle Beach (Adults Only)

This is a lovely old place with a lot of personality. Management is on site and very happy to chat about ever you care to discuss. Very responsive to suggestions. Free bagged ice and towels are in a cupboard for when you want them. Coffee and supplies as well. The free fishing poles/reels work well and there are plenty of fish, but maybe bring your tackle box for the accessories. Parking is a bit less than needed so try to avoid taking up two spaces when you park. Seating around the pool offers several choices with both sun and shade options without leaving the group unless you want to. The barbecue grill works well. We were in room 10, next to the road and were concerned that it might be noisy,it absolutely was not. Bed was comfortable and I don't have a good spine. We were there ten days and didn't see a single insect in our rooms. This place isn't for the folks wanting fancy or pampering but if you like a friendly place to relax and enjoy the island it's a great choice.

The Inn at Turtle Beach was the perfect location for our group vacation. Six couples stayed in the very nice and comfortable bungalows, which have their own hot tubs. The pool was small but great for hanging out and cooling off after a hot day at the beach. Just a short five-minute walk to Turtle Beach and the delicious Turtle Beach Restaurant and Turtle Beach Grille. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

My husband and I booked this room for a quick getaway that we have been trying to go on since March. The ONLY thing that I can say that wasn't great was finding where to check in. So for those of you reading this who haven't visited this great place, the office is across the street and down just a little way where the resort is (the side that allows children). Look for a blue sign that says office and follow the walkway. I called Alana to find out where it was and she stayed on the phone with me while I found it. Caroline in the office was very helpful, and pretty soon I was on my way back to check in to room #4, the Siesta suite. What a delightful surprise! The room itself was ice cold...a very nice treat since it was 94 degrees outside...and everything was absolutely immaculate! The bathroom has new amenities, the kitchen had everything we needed and then some, and the bed..oh my goodness the sheets were the nicest I have ever slept on! The hot tub smelled of bleach - IN A GOOD WAY...clearly was cleaned recently, and was PERFECT. There were camp chairs for us to use, which we took to the beach right down the road. We sat and watched the sun set while a couple were doing some evening fishing. It was very quiet. Very relaxing. It was exactly what we were looking for! There are grills for guests to use, bikes, kayaks, fishing poles..bags of ice for guests...I mean..who does all this? Some reviews have mentioned that things are getting old and worn...yes..the pool needs to be refinished...yes, there's a few items showing age, but let me tell you - any place on the water in Florida is going to show wear. The salt destroys everything. That's just how it is. We ended up having to leave a day early b/c hurricane Elsa was moving in and there was great likelihood of storm surge and flooding, but Alana graciously allowed us to come back on another date to finish our stay. We are very much looking forward to returning!

My husband and I recently stayed here for our anniversary trip. It was perfect. It’s on a quiet part of the key but convenient to get to things with the trolley and the free bikes. We enjoyed biking and also the free kayaks. The rooms were great. We didn’t have a chance to use the hot tub or pool but we’re glad both were there. If you’re looking for a hidden gem this is the perfect place. It’s also close to the best restaurant in there Ophelias on the Bay. Relaxing and the perfect spot.
