My wife and I had a memorable weekend at Agama Lodge. Being set slightly away from Sossusvlei, Agama Lodge is more peaceful and relaxing and we could appreciate the tranquility of the desert. The room we had was perfect and comfortable, the pool area is ideal to take a relaxing break and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We took the day tour to Sossusvlei and can highly recommend it - insider knowledge allowed us to appreciate and learn about the environment beyond the main sights. The only sad thing? That we had to leave so soon! Highly recommended.

So I stayed here with some friends and I have to say this place is amazing. We were heading to Sossusvlei and found this place the roomes are great and very modern with rooftop terraces with chairs and a queen side bed up there to watch the stars. Inside is an expansive bathroom with a very cool shower with a bench and rain showerhead amazing fluffy towels and washcloths( something I rarely see in four and five star hotels in Namibia) the beds are amazing with plush linens and amazing pillows and very nice mattresses.... I cant say enough about the staff and management as it's hard to get this quality of customer service we recieved at Agama Lodge we also received really good Dinner and breakfast included in the room rate.... the food and beverages were as good as the staff. Do yourselves a favor and stat here we loved it so much we stayed an extra night just because of the great experience we had on the first night there.

We loved every minute. The lodge is wonderful, the staff are sensational. We will definitely come back again. The pool was superb, and a nice place to calm down. The quality of the food was something to remember. We can only recommend it to everybody.

We treated like royalty, the people really know how to make you feel welcomed. The room looks like a five star hotel. The food was fresh. Infinity pool was clean and gave nice pictures, We did a Dead valley and Canyon tour, absolutely worth it.

We punctured our vehicle 80km from Agama, and when we arrived at the Lodge we saw they did tiire repairs. Even though we weren't a guest staying at the lodge, they took amazing care of us, we were able to buy a fantastic lunch, excellent value for money, while appreciating the incredible pool, views and nearby wildlife. The host was extremely kind and I would certainly recommend this place on the service and staff alone.

Good but simple reception are. Which led onto an outside seating area with a view over the infinity pool. Beyond that there were some water holes and a view to the nearby mountains. Our room was just about the furthest from reception but had lovely uninterrupted views of the mountains. It was a good size with air con, a large bathroom area and shower. There was also an outdoor seating area and a flat roof which you could use to star gaze. Bottled water was provided. All in all a nice room. We had pumba as guests around the water holes and there was a lovely view of the sunset from the front of the hotel. As a base for two days it was excellent.

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights during our Namibian adventure. The room is amazing, very spacious with bed, sofa, table etc his & hers sinks, separate toilet and shower area. I would describe the decor as rustic but elegant. The one thing I would add would be a fridge. Outside you have your own seating area with sofa and sun lounger, then you have stairs that lead up to the star bed area. One of the most wonderful experiences was laying in bed under a vast expanse of stars, which seem to grow the more you look, we also saw many shooting stars. Then you have the infinity pool, the water may be cold but after a day exploring the dunes & many other wonders in the hot dessert sun, it’s a welcome relief, lots of areas to relax & partake of drinks, cocktails etc. The food was varied, everything was fresh and well cooked and well presented, we had both a selection from a menu and the Buffett. All staff were friendly and attentive & seemed to enjoy working there. An added extra was the wildlife, that may come by, we saw warthogs & a Kudu. We would highly recommend this lodge.

We stayed 2 nights at the Agama Lodge at the start of a 12 day tour of Namibia, and it was a great start to our tour. The lodge was beautiful, and it was great to see Warthogs and Oryx close to the pool area. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. We even celebrated our anniversary in the sky bed with canapes and a bottle of bubbly, though it did get a bit too windy and we had to retire to our bedroom. Dinners and breakfasts were good and plentiful with grilled game meats and fresh salads.
