Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Gubei
4.7/52295 Reviews
Hongqiao District
I was attending an event at the Millennium Hotel nearby and since that place REEKS of horrible perfume, I wanted to find something nearby. The Holiday Inn Express seems to be newly renovated and everything looked new and clean. The room is small, but they make good use of the space. The bed is very comfortable and you have a choice of clearly marked soft or hard pillows. It’s very close to Line 10, so that’s convenient, and there are plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby. There were a lot of choices for breakfast, but nothing very delicious. Everything was either greasy or (unintentionally) cold. Despite seeming attention paid to making sure that things are clean and well-presented, every towel in my room - from bathmat to bath towel to hand towel - was old and frayed. Also, the iron , despite have a neatly tied cord, had a gigantic red blob on it, and multiple black smears. Housekeeping had to have seen these when they wound the cord and placed the iron away, yet they left it in that condition. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again if I were to be in that part of town.
Lejia International Apartment Hostel

Zhongshan Park Commercial Area
Booked this hotel for a relative who brought him back to China to visit his relatives. He was very satisfied with his stay. It is located in the Zhongshan Park business district. Convenient to travel, it is diagonally opposite Exit 10 of Zhongshan Park Station on Metro Line 2. It only takes 5 minutes to walk to Longemont, Changning, Raffles City and other large shopping malls. The service at the front desk is OK. The rooms are equipped with washing machines, which is very convenient for travelers on business trips.
Ji Hotel (Shanghai West Yan'an Road Subway Station)

Breakfast is relatively frugal, but the service staff is very friendly and has good reviews. The subway is also very convenient.

Xuhui District
I feel so satisfied after staying at this hotel 😀👍 It's a hotel in the community. There are many kittens downstairs. It's so good! No noise after check-in, quiet and not noisy The room type is Zhouzheng, the space is spacious, the scenery outside the window, the air is fresh and the viewing angle is wide All the furniture is very good, the sofa is big and comfortable, there is a refrigerator microwave, it is very thoughtful. Bathing facilities are brand new and clean, dry and wet separation The bed is soft and comfortable to sleep The TV is very big and clear. The important thing is that there are members who can watch a lot of TV dramas. There are no advertisements. The door lock is very safe. Normal lock, anti-lock, and anti-theft chain are complete. It is very reassuring. The price is too high The elevator is a bit smaller, but I think it's completely fine. It's enough. It's just enough to make full use of the space.
