Atour Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao National Exhibition Center, Beixinjing Metro Station)

Hongqiao District
It's a very good experience. The hotel is in a great location. It's next to the subway station. It's very convenient to go directly to the airport. If you have large luggage, you can also go to Exit 2 further ahead and take the barrier-free elevator. The front desk service was very good. I made a last-minute reservation and the hotel also upgraded me for free. I was very happy to be able to sleep well and go abroad the next day! The room is very clean. Because it is close to the road, you can hear a little traffic noise, but it does not affect your sleep. Earplugs and eye masks are provided, so you can sleep very comfortably. Highly recommended!

The front desk staff were friendly and kind. My room had a window facing a wall of the building next door, which isn't pleasant for a one-week stay but I wasn't there too often. The cleaning staff were also friendly and attentive and the room was cleaned daily. The big and soft butterscotch cat is a great addition to any hotel and the cafe out front is very popular. The setting overall is lovely. I didn't eat at the hotel but there are several cafes and restaurants nearby and the neighbourhood is great for exploring on foot or by bicycle.

Facilities: Full of technology, smart robots deliver things to your door, smart curtains, smart toilets, and the decoration is also very technological. The bed and pajamas are very comfortable and soft, so I fell asleep immediately when I lay on the bed. I plan to buy pajamas of the same style as the hotel at Huazhu Mall online. Health: quite clean, very new hotel. Environment: Very close to the airport, about 500m, only a five-minute walk. Service: The service is very good. We helped to upgrade the room for free. There was a slight problem with the facilities in the first room, so I contacted the front desk to help change it immediately.

First of all, we arrived at 11 o'clock in the evening and checked in at the front desk in 5 minutes. After entering the room, I felt full of heating, and I also found fruits prepared (apples, bananas, cherry tomatoes, small oranges~). The room is newly renovated, the facilities and hardware are all brand new, and the layout is practical and warm. The hotel upgraded us to a window type (but the window takes up a quarter of the wall of the room, but it is almost the same without it. It can be ventilated). As for the comments about the strong smell of decoration, this room did not smell it... If there is a shortcoming, it may be that there is no trash can in the room. Let's talk about the bathroom. The front desk asked kindly about the toothbrush set. In addition, the hygienic condition is acceptable and the space is moderate. The disadvantage is that the ventilation is a bit weak. It also comes with conditioner and hand soap, and shampoo and shower gel are okay~ As for the sleeping experience, the bed feels comfortable to touch and the mattress is soft and comfortable. It’s a great experience! Finally, let’s talk about breakfast. There are indeed few types of breakfast, but I like to be friendly to people who eat pasta. The ingredients are rich and the aunt who cooks the noodles is very kind and feels like home. like! The check-out process is very fast, and I will also ask about my stay experience~ Overall, great value for money!

The room is very spacious, and there is a dining table to drink tea around the table. I have come to live many times. My father was sick and then recuperated. I lived for more than half a month. My mother was accompanying me. I also liked the environment very much. Facilities: Convenient Hygiene: clean Environment: Five-star environment, tree-lined outside environment, natural oxygen bar Service: warm and friendly, meticulous

Shanghai, located on China's central coast, is the country's most populous city and one of the most vital financial hubs in the world. Shanghai's skyline, punctuated by the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower and the towering Shanghai Tower, paints a vivid picture of the city's impressive blend of traditional charm and modern flair.

Journeying to Shanghai

Shanghai's main international airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, offers numerous connections globally. Once there, you can reach downtown Shanghai using the Shanghai Maglev Train, buses, or taxis. For domestic travelers, high-speed trains offer an efficient means of travel.

The main mode of payment in China is usually through AliPay or WeChat Pay. Most places still accept credit and debit cards, but it's wise to carry some local currency (RMB) for smaller vendors. Mandarin is the official language, with Shanghainese also widely spoken. A translation app may come in handy when interacting with locals.

Attractions That Shine in Shanghai

Shanghai is brimming with must-see sights. Walk along the Bund to see colonial-era buildings against the backdrop of a modern skyline. Visit the tranquil Yuyuan Garden, an exquisite example of Ming Dynasty design. The Shanghai Museum hosts an extensive collection of Chinese historical artifacts, and the Shanghai Disney Resort promises fun for the entire family.

Shanghai's Seasons and Apparel

Shanghai has a humid subtropical climate. Summers (June-August) are hot and humid, while winters (December-February) can be quite cold. The best times to visit are autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May), when the weather is moderate. Pack a mix of lightweight and warm clothing to adjust to fluctuating temperatures in Shanghai.

Shanghai offers a wide variety of accommodations to meet diverse traveler needs. The Peninsula Shanghai, near the Bund, offers luxury and proximity to iconic sights. For foodies, The Puli Hotel and Spa is near numerous eateries in the Jing'an District. The budget-friendly Mingtown Etour Youth Hostel near People's Square offers comfort without the hefty price tag.
