I booked 4 nights in Dec2023. As it was winter, the entire hotel's aircon cooling system was turned off and switched to heating mode. There is no cooling mode in all the rooms.
We were unfamiliar with the aircon settings and this resulted in our room becoming hot as a sauna. We slept on top of our blankets and were drenched in sweat in the middle of the night. Luckily for the 24 hours front desk, we called for help at 2am.
They were cheerful and responsive and even sent someone up to our room and brought us a fan to circulate the air.
And when an empty room was available the next day, they gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a much better air circulation.
Despite paying only a fraction of the price of a big brand hotel (like Hyatt, Marriott or ), the service we received at JinJiang is on par or better. All the staff speak English and are attentive and eager to please. If things go wrong, let them know and give them a chance to rectify. I highly recommend this hotel for the excellent location and impeccable service.
