Metropolo Jinjiang Hotels Classiq (Shanghai Qingnianhui People's Square)

My family 2 adult, 2 kids spent 4 nights at this hotel. The location is excellent. It is 20m from Dashijie station, easy for Didi to park, near plaza to find restaurant although not much like nanjinlu. The hotel is worth the price. The hotel upgraded my room to the biggest room in hotel. Also, they offe additional bed for kid. I appreciated their help and excellent services.

Nice staff, clean and quiet. Good for all type of travelers. Close to Metro and shopping mall.

Very happy to book this hotel for my one day stay in Shanghai. Great location, excellent customer service, clean room and comfortable bed. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Despite visiting the hotel during CNY, I found the staff to be very accommodating and helpful.

I love the deco and ambience of the 30s, a huge former YMCA Building. Thick carpet, good size room. Friendly receptionists that speak English. Room is clean, though amenities are a bit lacking. No toothbrush and so on. Good sound proofing. Their is rainshower but hand shower head is not great. It's 8 min walk from the Shanghai Museum, and a few small shopping malls at the opposite side of the road. Nanjing Street is 15 min walk away. Breakfast is disappointing. Very limited options for such a hotel and at that room rate. Coffee is not freshly brewed. The restaurant has just 8 tables.

Hotel is very close to subway station (80m) from gate 1 or 3, walking distance or 1 subway station away from many iconic tourist attractions and eateries. Staffs were very friendly and attentive, we were only staying for 1 nights, but requested hotel reception to take our parcels a few days before our arrival, so we can pick up our stuffs at our last stop and they were happy to help, thank you. Hotel also provided kid slipper and toothbrush upon request, gave our girl favourite pinky colour pack. Hotel itself were transformed from old building, but noted it was newly renovated and vintage looking from outside, but modern amenities inside, also have modern automated toilets (like Japanese hotels). Will definitely recommend family or other visitors to stay here. The only minor downside is too few seats for buffet breakfast, we were asked to squeezed in with a few other people, but still acceptable, staffs cleaned the table very quickly and find the seats for us within 5 minutes.

Next to metro line 8, change at ren ming square line 2 to and fro Pudong airport. 15 mins walk to nan jing walking street. 30 mins walk to the Bund.. a food street with a pocket friendly corner restaurant - yuxing, it has cheap and delicious crab roe xiao long bao, and egg yolk lion head huge meat ball.

The hotel is in a convenient location, it was easy to get to and from the airport. The hotel staff was very helpful and the room was very warm for a cold winter night.

A 100 years old building that turned into a hotel. Love the heritage look. Helpful and friendly receptionists and cleaners. Allow early check in and late check out. Ideal location. Subway line no. 8, just round the corner. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Very clean and comfortable mattress. I highly recommend staying here.
