Reviews for Shanghai Hotels

Lisa公寓(襄陽南路分店)
4.7/53 Reviews
Hengshan Road Area
The house looks exactly the same as the picture, the real thing is even better 。 The location is very superior, the house is well maintained, and the layout and decoration aesthetics are very online 。 Unfortunately, this time I stayed in Shanghai for 3 days. It is too suitable for doing nothing in the house for a whole day! I hope I can continue to come to the daze next time I have a chance. Finally, the bed is too comfortable! ! ! We walk 20,000 steps a day, and we can go back to the house to sleep and be full of blood to resurrect and continue to stroll! ! ! I want to ask about the brand of the mattress, haha 。

Longchen Holiday Inn (Shanghai Ruijin Hospital Yongjia Road Branch)
4.3/5381 Reviews
Hengshan Road Area
Mainly it is convenient to go to Ruijin Hospital to see a doctor. There are old houses next to it. Sleeping is very quiet at night. This is great! The bathroom is a smart toilet, which is also very good. It takes seven or eight minutes to walk to Ruijin Hospital. It is very convenient to eat and drink next to it, and it is also close to the sun and moon. The price is more than 300, which is very economical!
Ji Hotel (Shanghai Yueyang Road)

The 8 o'clock number was called at the otolaryngology hospital the next day, so I had to go early to find a place to stay near the hospital for one night. The all-season location was recently booked! The surrounding environment is very quiet and the hotel is a bit small! ! Other chains are pretty much the same!
Shanghai Yaoting Lingju (Jiashan Road Branch)

Hengshan Road Area
Very satisfied. Very close to where I train. The community is very quiet, and the main gate of the community is not far away. Takeaways can be delivered quickly. The decoration of the room is very fresh and it is very convenient to wash clothes. The price is very reasonable. It costs about 400 to 600 to stay in an ordinary hotel in Shanghai in July. Therefore, the price-performance ratio of this B&B is very high. You can cook and do laundry. If you don’t want to cook, there are many interesting small restaurants nearby.
City Courtyard Homestay
5/59 Reviews
Hengshan Road Area
Sure enough, as the name is taken. City Yin, big hidden in the city. This is the most different urban homestay I have ever stayed in. This big yard, this big fireplace, lying in the sun in the afternoon, listening to the sound of running water, emptying yourself, enjoying the moment. This can no longer be simply called a homestay, a paradise in the city center. The landlord is very polite, and I am embarrassed to take one bite of you. All my questions are answered in seconds. The bed was very comfortable and there was a fragrance in the room. The key is that sleeping is particularly quiet, which is what I care about the most. Come live again in two weeks.

More about Shanghai

Shanghai: Where East Meets West

Shanghai, located on China's central coast, is the country's most populous city and one of the most vital financial hubs in the world. Shanghai's skyline, punctuated by the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower and the towering Shanghai Tower, paints a vivid picture of the city's impressive blend of traditional charm and modern flair.

Journeying to Shanghai

Shanghai's main international airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, offers numerous connections globally. Once there, you can reach downtown Shanghai using the Shanghai Maglev Train, buses, or taxis. For domestic travelers, high-speed trains offer an efficient means of travel.

The main mode of payment in China is usually through AliPay or WeChat Pay. Most places still accept credit and debit cards, but it's wise to carry some local currency (RMB) for smaller vendors. Mandarin is the official language, with Shanghainese also widely spoken. A translation app may come in handy when interacting with locals.

Attractions That Shine in Shanghai

Shanghai is brimming with must-see sights. Walk along the Bund to see colonial-era buildings against the backdrop of a modern skyline. Visit the tranquil Yuyuan Garden, an exquisite example of Ming Dynasty design. The Shanghai Museum hosts an extensive collection of Chinese historical artifacts, and the Shanghai Disney Resort promises fun for the entire family.

Shanghai's Seasons and Apparel

Shanghai has a humid subtropical climate. Summers (June-August) are hot and humid, while winters (December-February) can be quite cold. The best times to visit are autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May), when the weather is moderate. Pack a mix of lightweight and warm clothing to adjust to fluctuating temperatures in Shanghai.

Choosing Your Accommodation in Shanghai

Shanghai offers a wide variety of accommodations to meet diverse traveler needs. The Peninsula Shanghai, near the Bund, offers luxury and proximity to iconic sights. For foodies, The Puli Hotel and Spa is near numerous eateries in the Jing'an District. The budget-friendly Mingtown Etour Youth Hostel near People's Square offers comfort without the hefty price tag.
