Great location walking distance from Shanghai railway station. Got there a few hours early but hotel allowed us to leave luggage there whilst we went for lunch. Lovely hotel, staff, breakfast etc.. Only downside is that the pool is 6th floor in next building so you have to come down, go past reception and lobby and take lift to the 6th floor there. The small jacuzzi was not available when we wanted to use it as it was safer with our 3 year old so had to go into the main pool but we felt like we were getting in the way as others were using it to do their length swimming. Also, to get to the pool you have to climb up some stairs and at the bottom what looks like a rubber grip flooring was full of cold water but it was clear so when i stepped into it with cloth sandals that the hotel gave us in the room, they got soaking wet and the water was freezing cold. There should be a sign there to say there is a pool of water (see picture attached) Other downside in the room is that the lighting system is very confusing - we had an executive suite and wanted to put our infant to sleep in the main room whilst we relaxed in the living room but if you wanted the lighting on in the living area you had to go to the bedroom to turn it on and the lights next to the front door were also confusing as there was no option to turn on the lights in the lounge area and if there was, it wasn’t stated hence why we say it was all very confusing.

The location is excellent. Shanghai Station is out. The triple room is actually cheaper than the ordinary hotel. The room is very clean. There are bright windows without tide. The temperature is suitable for ventilation. The computer configuration is medium to 3070. There is no problem with e-sports. The built-in single machine is also rich. Almost all the purchases on your account can be played directly. The room is facing the street but it is quite quiet. It is not half the loud e-sports call. Free Wi-Fi. There is no shirking at the front desk. Small things can almost be solved quickly. In general, the environment, location, price, The hardware configuration is worth experiencing, and I will stay in Shanghai in the future.

Disadvantages: I booked the twin room with the largest area and the highest price, but the room is not big, there are no lockers, and the luggage can only be placed on the ground. There is an escalator right outside the balcony, so there is no sense of security or privacy. Enjoy two-star accommodation for four-star prices. Advantages: The breakfast buffet is free for children, and it is close to the train station and subway station.

The younger brother and sister at the front desk are very good. The room is not free to upgrade my room type. The aunt is also very good. I clean up the room every day. The health is nice. There is no problem with the computer equipment playing common games. The little brother has a fluctuation delay because of my LOL. , Helped me repair the old machine for a long time, Overall a very nice store, stayed for a week, plan to stay here for the next few days

I stayed at around 21 o'clock in the evening and the location was very good, because the side of the hotel was Shanghai Station, behind it was a number of bus stops, and the subway station was also nearby. I took a taxi from the main entrance of the hotel to the Bund for 15 yuan. The facilities in the room are average, the face and bath water are hot and very big, there is mineral water, there are snacks at the gate, you can eat, there is also a convenience store, when I live, there are more than 100 twin standard rooms, so the overall price of the hotel is very high.

Guide for Travelling in Shanghai

Shanghai: Where East Meets West

Shanghai, located on China's central coast, is the country's most populous city and one of the most vital financial hubs in the world. Shanghai's skyline, punctuated by the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower and the towering Shanghai Tower, paints a vivid picture of the city's impressive blend of traditional charm and modern flair.

Journeying to Shanghai

Shanghai's main international airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, offers numerous connections globally. Once there, you can reach downtown Shanghai using the Shanghai Maglev Train, buses, or taxis. For domestic travelers, high-speed trains offer an efficient means of travel.

The main mode of payment in China is usually through AliPay or WeChat Pay. Most places still accept credit and debit cards, but it's wise to carry some local currency (RMB) for smaller vendors. Mandarin is the official language, with Shanghainese also widely spoken. A translation app may come in handy when interacting with locals.

Attractions That Shine in Shanghai

Shanghai is brimming with must-see sights. Walk along the Bund to see colonial-era buildings against the backdrop of a modern skyline. Visit the tranquil Yuyuan Garden, an exquisite example of Ming Dynasty design. The Shanghai Museum hosts an extensive collection of Chinese historical artifacts, and the Shanghai Disney Resort promises fun for the entire family.

Shanghai's Seasons and Apparel

Shanghai has a humid subtropical climate. Summers (June-August) are hot and humid, while winters (December-February) can be quite cold. The best times to visit are autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May), when the weather is moderate. Pack a mix of lightweight and warm clothing to adjust to fluctuating temperatures in Shanghai.

Choosing Your Accommodation in Shanghai

Shanghai offers a wide variety of accommodations to meet diverse traveler needs. The Peninsula Shanghai, near the Bund, offers luxury and proximity to iconic sights. For foodies, The Puli Hotel and Spa is near numerous eateries in the Jing'an District. The budget-friendly Mingtown Etour Youth Hostel near People's Square offers comfort without the hefty price tag. For those seeking Instagram-worthy spots, the Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai with its stunning views won't disappoint.
