I had an excellent experience with my stay in Amaya, a beautiful place to relax and yummy buffet breakfast with many regional food to choose. The room was definitely the biggest I’ve ever been and very clean. I would definitely recommend and come back again

The hotel is located by a beautiful lake, with shady trees and flocks of egrets. It is intoxicating. The breakfast is very good. It is the most satisfying hotel in this trip to Lanka.

Very good environment and beautiful scenery. It is also better to go out. The quality and taste of the food are also very good. very unique. The single bed in the parent-child room is too small. Especially the toilet seat in the bathroom is yellow. It really brings the hotel down a lot.

We were supposed to get a "deluxe balcony room". What we got was one of the cottages (#59) – as far as we could see one of the 'deluxe" ones. But we liked the cottage – it was very spacious and cosy. The service from the staff is excellent all around – from reception, to cleaning staff, to restaurant staff. The restaurant, however, is a little too big. The evening buffet is huge – so huge that it is confusing. The grounds are very tasteful and nice to walk around. The second pool is located in a beautiful and more quiet corner of the grounds and very nice. Overall a very nice place to stay.

The staff at Amaya are amazing especially Kanishka she was very helpful thanks for a fantastic holiday. We were made welcome from start to finish my wife an I really enjoy ourselves and would for sure come back. What an amazing place for a holiday Kevin and Lisa

After 3 nights I'm leaving today to go on to Kandy. It was a great stay- the resort welcomes you with a view at the main pool and the lake. The chalets are placed over the ca. 50 acres. The service and cleaning is excellent and Manjula from housekeeping is very creative and helpful - look at the pictures. Thank you for a great time.

The view in the morning is fantastic. The room including the bathroom is spacious. For the buffet, Mr. Jayarathna was a friendly F&B manager. Came to ensure everything was okay and we made small talk. The check in service was apt but we didn't get to request for a 2-single bedroom.
