Bed was pretty comfortable, the rooms a little small and there is no parking. But the staff were pleasant and the rooms were clean

Positive: Beds were comfortable. Convenient location with food close by. Check in was easy. Parking lot is a bit strange but has lots of availability.
Negative: Sink in the bathroom was leaking from below and slow to drain.
Bathtub was on it's last legs, curved weirdly in the middle like it was cracking/caving in underneath.
Tried to use the bathroom fan during first shower but soon it smelled like it was starting to burn and on closer look was very dusty/dirty so didn't use it again.
Found a drink bottle cap on the floor by the bed when I first checked into the room, which makes me wonder how thorough they are in cleaning.

Clean but old and dated time for do over.
If stairs are an issue think twice. A flight of stairs to climb and carry baggage just to get into the lobby. No elevator.

Oh, my. I booked this because my usual hotel wasn't available.
Let's start with the biggies:
-Security bar has been broken off.
-Most rooms here have a key card, but this looks like it's been kicked in because it has a different door plate and uses a physical key.
-No emergency lighting or sprinklers in the room. Not even sure that's legal. Definitely unsafe.
-No wheelchair access to the hotel. Even the entrance. Stairs only. Again, would be surprised if legal.
-Room is musty, dim, and in poor repair. Damage on door, walls and tub.
-Ancient green carpet worm down and damaged by previous furnishings.
Nowhere near the level of quality I've come to expect from this brand.
The bed.is reasonably comfortable and seems clean. The room appears to not have been meaningfully updated in probably 10 or 15 years. Very glad I'm only here for about 12 hours.

When I checked into my room I found that the enamel finish in the tub was badly failing leaving exposed shape edges which you could cut your feet. Numerous TV channels did not work. I asked the office staff if there was another room my wife and I could switch too. I was told no rooms were available though other customers were checking in continually for the next few hours. I asked to have the manager call me but no one called to discuss me concerns. Lastly, after 5 dsys and over $800 later, this hotel is located in my home town which I was visiting this hotel was at one time a very well respected and well maintained hotel. Now, it is run down and tired in need of a renovation and staff training.

I would suggest an upgrade to this hotel I am a person with a disability. Although this might have been stated online when choosing this hotel re: no disabled access I booked in a hurry. room was ok the bed was better. Good quite night sleep. If this hotel is making money post CoVid I would suggest using it for upgrades as stated above. I laughed with my travel mate |there is a disabled sign to park but only Rick Hansen would be able to climb the stairs as he had to for his world tour
