The room was newly renovated except the bathtub. I assume that will also be renovated. There was a copper fitting and a little debris from installing the toilet still on the floor. I am sure once all the renovations in the building are completed that it will be a wonderful place to stay. Also the blinds with the scenery pictures are a really nice touch.

i cant believe this hotel they say online that there is a pool here but 1 its not even in the building its fkn across the street 2 it fkn doesnt have water in it. How do you swim in a pool with no fkn water. i cant find the game room

Positives: - The front desk staff, Jash, was responsive and practiced active listening. Honored his words. For example, I inquired about the check-in requirement before booking. He explained and did what he said he would do and did not ask for additional information than what we agreed upon. He also was flexible in accepting different forms of incidental payments in addition to credit cards including cash. - Jash also was the one who checked me out the next morning. Once you ring the bell at the front desk, as promised, Jash showed up in less than 5 minutes. Seems like he's the only staff in this facility. - Quiet - The hotel did a good job managing expectations: Reasonable rate given its rating and amount charged. It positions itself as a 2-to-3-star hotel, more like a motel, and charges like a motel, and the facility and condition are aligned with a motel. Better than 1) hotels advertised as a 4 or 5 star to trick you in then found out later it's a 1 or negative 5 out of 5 hotels like Embassy Suites by Hilton in Montreal. or 2) 3 or 4 star hotels that charges you a high price and was in gross and dirty condition like Charlottetown Inn & Conference Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. - Clean bed - Easy parking - Central air conditioner and heater work well, seems like it's newly installed - Clean lobby Negatives: - Even though it has a staff with positive attitude, and effective expectation management, but it does not mean the room cleanliness can be compromised. Hairs found on multiple areas in the bathroom. Watermarks on desk surfaces. - old facility so not many electrical outlets in the room nor located in the convenient places. Other: - the rate did not include breakfast, nor they provide breakfast during slow season though they may have a facility to do that. you need to check with the hotel directly. - most hotels in Summerside, Prince Edward Islands are motel grade. Charlottetown has better lodging accommodation, which is about 40 to 60 minutes away without traffic.

Front Desk personnel friendly and helpful.

The check-in was nice & the young man was welcoming & friendly. Our room was a fairly good size. Nice decorative pillows & thro on the bed, very attractive. But I’ve never had a bed make so much noise, it was also like sleeping in a hammock it was sagging so much I couldn’t turn over. The tube has been resealed, & they shouldn’t have wasted their $. It was still all scratched & looked dirty even if it wasn’t… didn’t want to get into it. It’s also not a very sound proof place, our neighbours up the hall turned on their TV at 5:30 much to our surprise 😦 Nice little microwave & fridge. No food near by there was a line up of people at the front desk in the morning, but there was no staff working or anyone around to help them

Gees I've been reading the reviews of this place. I usually stay at the lololist but for the first time I booked here. I'm very picking about having a nice clean beautiful stay and that's what I except when staying here for a week. Hoping I'm not disappointant my Frist time staying here I expect the very best. A lot of money to stay a week so I better be pleased.

I would have rated this hotel 0, but it was not an option. Other than having a roof over our heads; that is was it. First of all the pool is closed and we called the night before arriving to ask if they had pool towels, yes we were told and arrive the next day to it not even being open, that’s fine but that could have been communicated. The hallways stunk of smoke and it looks nice in the entry way until you go on any level and smell smoke and see stains on all the carpets. The side door does not lock and the “residents” I’m assuming leave it ajar so they can access it to smoke all day/ night. We brought this safety concern up to the front desk and they had no idea. There is no one working at the front desk past 4 each day, another safely concern. The 2nd floor hallway was filled with smoke one evening and we opened the elevator and someone came out saying “it’s ok someone’s burning incense on the 4th floor. It seems to be more people that lived permanently there than staying there on holiday - hopefully they weren’t over charged as well. They are charging $140 plus tax which is outrageous- if you check out any other hotel in Summerside you will find a much nicer hotel with a much nicer price, sadly everything was booked and our team has to stay there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PROPERTY, you will thank me!
