Taichung Charming City Hotel

It is suitable for journeys that do not drive because the hotel has only mechanical parking! And it is not recommended for guests staying. The hotel will provide parking information that requires an additional 300 yuan parking fee to let customers know. I hope that the hotel will directly select the room type if there is a parking need For the staying guests, directly add the parking fee to the parking lot and let the guests choose directly! You don’t have to drive there and you have to look for another one! Thank you

Yi-Chung Bazaar
This trip, my friend and I drove from Taipei to Taichung to visit friends and stayed for one night. The location is easy to find and the parking lot is easy to park. Although the sparrow in the room is small and complete, the price is really nothing to say and the sound is good, very quiet. The breakfast included in the surprise is a lot of choices and delicious! It is recommended that the price is very high!

Sea of Flowers In Shinshe
This is a review of the hot spring only. First impressions: the building is beautiful, modern and appears new. Second impressions: the receptionist who served me spoke perfect English and inquired if that was the langauge I would like to use. Third impression: the price is outrageous. NTD600, because - as the receptionist informed me - it was a holiday. I later found out this meant the weekend. Having said that staff were decked out in Halloween costumes which added a certain degree of holiday ambience to proceedings. Back to the price, and according to the web-site, the fee is NTD450 on weekdays and NTD550 on weekends. Kids are cheaper. I could have been slightly ripped off, or the web-site could have been out-of-date. So if I was miffed about the price, why am I still giving it 5 stars? Two reasons: the facilities were huge (as Tawianese hot springs go), clean and varied; and the other punters were largely very friendly. One guy saw that I was a little lost upon arriving and took it upon himself to show me around. Delightful. Towels are provided, and hot and cold filtered water is on tap. I, for one, will be returning, steep price notwithstanding.
Maison de Chine Hotel Taichung (Golden Tulip Zhong Xin Hotel Taichung)

First of all, I would like to thank Maison Hotel for providing a good rest environment for passengers. The freezer in the refrigerator is still cool, and there is a place for my wife to ice breast milk. There is a gym and a swimming pool on the top floor, which is great, but unfortunately it is only open until 10 pm, which is not enough. The juice for breakfast is only orange juice, and I finished it at 9:30. I responded to the on-site staff and the answer was ”It's embarrassing to make up at this time...” Well... I drink water QQ
Kylin Peak Hotspring Resort
3.5/514 Reviews
1) The service staff has a friendly attitude 2) The facilities are available for normal use 3) After entering the room, the mineral water was the same one that had been drunk but had not been replaced with new products. When the counter responded, it was replaced directly with new products. 4) During our stay, we killed 1 mosquito, 1 spider, 1 black mosquito, and 1 unknown insect in the room and bed. 5) Breakfast is a personal set menu, which is delicious and suitable. The drink is grape-flavored, which neither children nor adults like. It is recommended to switch to black tea which is suitable for the general public. The above is a factual explanation

More about Taichung

Introduction to Taichung

With a harmonious blend of traditional and modern, natural and urban, Taichung is home to both bustling markets and peaceful parks.

Tips for Travelling to Taichung

Taichung International Airport is the city's primary gateway, though travelers also arrive via the high-speed rail from Taipei or Kaohsiung. Taichung is served by an efficient bus network, and the city's bike sharing system is another convenient mode of transport.

The official currency is the New Taiwan Dollar (TWD), and credit cards are accepted at many places. However, carrying some cash is recommended for night markets and smaller vendors. The primary language is Mandarin Chinese, though English is spoken in many tourist spots.

It is advisable to check visa requirements as they vary by country.

Popular Attractions in Taichung

Don't miss the whimsical Rainbow Village, known for its colorful murals. The National Taichung Theater and Fengjia Night Market, one of Taiwan's largest night markets, are also worth a visit.

For nature lovers, the stunning Taichung Park and tranquil Zhongshe Flower Market are must-see attractions. Art enthusiasts should explore the Calligraphy Greenway and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Taichung enjoys a warm, humid climate year-round. The best time to visit is during fall (October to December) when the weather is cooler and dryer.

Light, breathable clothing is recommended. Be sure to carry a raincoat or umbrella, particularly during the rainy summer months (June to August).

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Taichung
