There are UBike available for rent when you get a Taiwan E-sim and register a UBike account. Cycle from hotel to Metro station only 5 mins. Hotel swimming pool, steam room, sauna room and hot water pool are very well maintained. Friend housekeeping, fitness Centre staff and front desk staff. Especially the female doormen, give clear instructions on how to get to metro stations and nearby eateries. Will stay at this hotel again when I visit Taipei. One last thing, guest room is big that can keep all my three 30 inches luggage’s.

A good hotel that is well located in Taipei. The ben though the exterior is somewhat dated, the interior is adequate and well kept. Breakfast is pleasant and service attentive. The only word of caution is being given a room that is interior facing and can be somewhat dark in the day time; maybe uncomfortable for those who yearn for natural light.

I chose a room with separate bath. The bath is not a Western-style bath that you can lie in. It’s square shaped and about four feet wide and long. You can sit in it, but you can’t recline in it if this is something you’re looking for. The hotel offers an outstanding breakfast at the Tavernist. Breakfast here is easily more delicious than at more expensive hotels. Even the coffee was great. Breakfast is a la carte rather than buffet but the servings are perhaps even excessively generous. The hotel location is also very good. I wasn’t that familiar with Taipei when I booked but the location turned out to be convenient. It’s a few minutes walk to Zhongxiao Fuxing station, which can take travelers to a few tourist spots, and about a twenty minute walk to Huashan Creative Park. There are Japanese-style department stores with restaurants in the basements and upper floors in addition to local cafes and restaurants.

Positives: - The team's service and attitude are consistently professional and courteous throughout my entire stay. Everyone was professional. No one came across rude, impatient, or defensive. They thanked me for choosing them and also took responsibility/ownership on things they did not do right the first time. - They took notes on things you said and requested with immediate response or within 24 hours if needed more time. - They practiced active listening, asked clarification questions to ensure what I needed/requested. - Excellent breakfast, full of variety. They kept standard items standard by providing them daily but also added some variety by changing 3-5 dishes. All foods are fresh and prepared on site. - Housekeeping service had great attitude and was efficient in cleaning throughout the entire stay. - They have an elevator. Most hotels in Taiwan have elevators. - They are happy to help moving your luggage upon request. - Excellent hot shower temperature and pressure - Amenities provided in the room is abundant with good quality - They are trustworthy in honoring pre-agreed upon check-in requirements. Before booking this hotel, I asked about the check-in requirements and what I felt comfortable providing and what not. They agreed and executed accordingly. I appreciate how their words and actions are consistent, which is very different from some hotels (Best Western always acted inconsistently, Marriott, Hilton, and IHG hotels are spotty, some are good, and some are bad) in the US and Canada where they said/agreed one things and acted differently when I arrived at the front desk for check-in. Hotel services in Taiwan are generally much better in terms of service attitude and honoring their words. - Effective expectation management and communication - When raising issues, they took it with positive attitude: they always first owned it by providing a sincere apology, tried to solve it immediately. If they couldn't solve it right away, they asked for more time and provided a timeframe on when it would be solved. Throughout my stay, 50% of issues were solved immediately, and 50% were solved within 12 to 24 hours. No issues remained unresolved. - Common areas are always very clean and organized. Negatives: - Not always have people at the front desk to help open the heavy doors. Better to change it to auto-sliding doors. - The elevator carpet is gross and dirty: time to change it. There was a hair hidden underneath the hand towel on first day - raised the issue and they fixed it the next morning. Should not have missed at first place. - There was a dirty blue cup with watermarks all

There is an Italian restaurant in the hotel. We ordered pizza and pizza is nice. There is some nice cafes nearby but did not get to try. Amenities- shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are provided. There is a public bath at level 17 but I did not try. There is a Lounge af level 2 for u to get bottles of water and complimentary coffee. Service - staff are polite. Room is clean. Others - it cost about $1300 to cab from hotel to Taoyuan airport. Journey takes about 40mins if traffic is smooth.

The service staff is kind and courteous; I don’t know if it is affected by the epidemic. I can hardly hear the sound of other tenants all night. The room is on the 11th floor of Zhongxiao East Road. The sound of traffic is almost inaudible. It is super close to the exit 3 of Zhongxiao Xinsheng. It is very convenient to go to the Bannan Line and Zhonghe Xinlu Line. Although there is a parking lot, if the body of the car exceeds 170cm, there will be no way to stop. The service staff will ask you to find a free seat in the alley, or stop at your own parking lot. This is not visible on the reservation system, which causes trouble and additional parking fees. In addition, the hotel mineral water only provides a round of the room. If it is not enough, you must go to the lobby on the first floor to install RO water. You can't drink it directly. You have to boil it and cool it before you can drink it. It is not very friendly to families with milk needs.

Got a private room here which was fine. Very clean. Nice facilities. But that's it. The breakfast was a ticket to a sandwich shop down the street. So basic. They also made you collect new tickets every day and refused to give them more than 1 day in advance. Absolutely worthless. I chose this place because I was solo traveling and I wanted to see if I could meet other travelers. That didnt happen as the communal spots are few and far between, so no one is ever in there. On top of that, something went wrong with my hotel key and I was locked out of my room late at night when I was trying to go to bed. It took them 30 minutes to get my door open. You can find cheaper hotels just as nice. Not recommended.

The location of the hotel is really good, 5 minutes walk from Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station, so it is convenient to go everywhere. 3 subway stops or half an hour's walk to 101 Building, 1 station to Taipei Main Station, 2 stations to Ximending MRT, 3 stations to Songshan Airport MRT or 120 Taiwan dollars by taxi. It is also 2 stops away from the duty-free shop, and next to the hotel are Pacific Sogo and Sogo Sogo. The room fee is only 350. The price/performance ratio is too high. It is very convenient to go shopping and eat. I will stay here next time.

Excellent service from staff, who are mostly friendly and polite. Location is unbeatable as just few steps from Zhongxiao Fuxing MTR and also can take CitiAirbus 1960 from Taoyuan Airport to hotel easily. However on return trip the bus stop is a little far away near Howard Hotel, wish they would re-open the nearby bus stop near hotel back to airport. So as our luggage was quite heavy with many food items including mangoes, so we decided to take a taxi back to airport but this can be arranged with hotel direct at a special price NT$1,100 (it’s actually a private car like Uber) as much cheaper than taking a taxi that cost NT$1200-1300+. Also next door is Amo Bakery which sells excellent cheesecake, honey cake and cookies, must buy as it’s so good which we bought some upon departure day as quite similar taste to what we bought from Hokkaido before. And nearby has many great eateries, surrounded by stores like Sogo, Watson’s, Carrefour, Cosmed and a huge Poya store to stock up on beauty related stuff, must visit:)

The hotel is close to the MRT Dongmen Station and has been reached within a few minutes' walk from Exit 1 or 2. The hotel is old but the rooms are clean, elegantly furnished, spacious and comfortable. The wifi reception speed is very strong, but the corridor outside the room smells of smoke. Seeing that they locked each group of luggage and then covered it with a net, they knew that the security did a good job and reassured the guests. The staff was very friendly, especially the young male staff, seeing that we bought a hand letter back, and offered to go to the restaurant to sort it out slowly, so as not to hinder others in the lobby, it was very careful. Overall, it is a hotel with reasonable prices and good service standards. It would be better if there were more styles for breakfast food.

We booked Sheraton because of its location and name. We booked King Bed, but when we got there they gave us 2 Twin Bed and made a King Bed out of it. They gave us a King Bed room the next day. For Honeymoon we only got 2 small Teabags and 2 small teddy bears. Worst Honeymoon Amenities ever. Breakfast was ok. Good enough. Lobby was too crowded. Restaurants was crowded from morning till evening.

Highly recommended👍🏻 The hotel is located at the heart of shopping district besides MRT station. Lot of eateries nearby and the breakfast is good. They even serve free flow of snacks (assorted biscuits, mini pancake, etc.) after breakfast time. Really enjoyed the bubble tea from Orange Tea shop which is at downstairs only. Will definitely book this hotel again when I visit Taiwan.
