When my family arrived, the lobby was super crowded,(maybe due to new year) and a great place to take pictures. The room was quite big, but the toilet was quite dirty. The bathtub had brown stains, and the corners of the toilet were caked in mold. The hotel was connected to Taipei Main Station through Exit M6. There was a lift directly connected to room. We took a Tra train one stop to Rouhe night market, it was very convenient. Overall, Caesar Park Hotel Taipei was a nice place to stay in.

We chose this because it is located somewhere between ximending and xingyi district. It’s convenient to get a taxi. We have 12 paxs in this trip. When we reached on 1 Nov , it was pretty late, between 9pm - 10pm. All of us were very tired and kinda disoriented after a long day’s car ride. When we had alighted from our vehicles, immediately the bell boy told us not to block the hotel entrance. Our driver immediately told them we just reached and stood here for less than 5 minutes, how to check into the hotel without alighting the vehicles ? It was an unpleasant “welcome” experience. The hotel conceige staff also made mistakes when issuing our door cards. This hotel has its rules and regulations. If you want to have an easy going holiday experience, there are better ones.

We booked Sheraton because of its location and name. We booked King Bed, but when we got there they gave us 2 Twin Bed and made a King Bed out of it. They gave us a King Bed room the next day. For Honeymoon we only got 2 small Teabags and 2 small teddy bears. Worst Honeymoon Amenities ever. Breakfast was ok. Good enough. Lobby was too crowded. Restaurants was crowded from morning till evening.

Last minute booking made with this hotel ended up as my favourite accomodation in TW till date. Service was awesome. There was always a hotel staff opening the main door for guests to enter. Receptionist was friendly and offered a free upgrade to suite. Upgraded room was very spacious and clean. Came with Loccitane toiletries. Seems that guests are mainly Japanese. Location is quite convenient with shops nearby. A pity I got to check out before sunrise to catch an early morning flight. Would stay here again when I visit Taipei next time.

The buffet breakfast was in a spacious restaurant and had a decent variety of dishes. My favourite was the porridge and condiments. Nearby, there are convenient stores and also more shops underground leading to the trains, one of them is Mister Donut. The location was perfect for us. The hotel is just a couple of minutes away from Taipei Main Station and the pick-up point for day tour buses. The facilities and amenities were sufficient for us. The room was clean and comfortable, and had a view of Taipei Main Station. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were attentive, polite and helpful. I will choose Cosmos again when I visit Taipei again.

Hotel is marvellous, room is spacious, enough for solo traveling. If the room were to have 2 luggage’s, i think there won’t be enough walking space in the room. We stayed here for 4 nights. Before commenting on the hotel, we wanted to share some of our own experiences with those who travelled to this hotel on their own. We arrived at the airport at about 5pm and went to the Flying Dog Bus counter as suggested by the Forum members. Based on the information we found, the bus was supposed to take us to the hotel or close enough to the hotel. But instead, we were told they would not take us to the hotel door until after six o'clock. Before 6 o'clock, they will only put guests on the designated bus route and then take a taxi to the location they are going to. In short, if you arrive at the airport before 5:30, then it is recommended to take the Guoguang bus. After the next time at the terminal (Taipei Central Station), take the MRT to Ximending. Pros: -The location is good. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the nearest MRT Ximending Station. -All rooms have free Internet access. Try using the wireless connection. If you don't have a network cable yourself, you can borrow one from the front desk. - Basic supplies: hairdryer, kettle, free bottled water and tea - very clean Cons - hotel entrance hidden in a narrow alley and easy to miss. Just look for the World Express pastry shop on the main road. There are huge neon lights on the top side of the hotel, which is useful when looking for it from a distance. - Shower and bathtub are integrated. As a business hotel, we expect them to install a shower curtain, but maybe they think it will cost too much. So you can imagine the mess after each shower. -No useful maps available. Those maps that could be used only marked the subway line, and there was no address information or anything like that. - the lighting in the room was poor. It was too dark for ladies who wanted to make up. -Close to a government building, so if you want to walk around naked in the room, it is recommended to close the curtains. -The front desk clerk doesn't seem to know much about the attractions. -Breakfast coupons are issued at the front desk every morning, dining at the fast food restaurant on the main road, just at the exit of the narrow alley. There are about four or five packages to choose from, but the two must be the same (for both of us)! That is so stupid! The food is not good either.

This time I pushed a 32-inch suitcase and the staff at the counter were kind enough to help me move it to the third floor with an elevator (I booked a room on the fourth floor without an elevator). The bathroom and toilet are in different locations, but there is always an average of more than two small flying insects (just the black and round wings) in every space. But I stayed in another youth hostel. I have booked a total of 3 nights in this hotel. We have encountered some confusion during the check in as the hotel renamed recently from Hedo to Le Room, and the room size or features of the room we booked initially. Nevertheless, we appreciated the hotel staff gave us a free upgrade during our stay. Perhaps there is renovation works going on in the building or around the building, they provided us a set of ear plug and I believed the complimentary breakfast was provided for the compensation. Nice breakfast spread. Strong connection for their Wifi. However, their pillow is too soft for me. Air con is not consistent, sometime in the middle of the night, the temperature may be a bit too warm for me. The water pressure is strong but sometimes the water suddenly become cold for 1-2sec. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel as the location was strategic. Walking distance to Ximending and exit z10 to the underground mall. The staff is also quite patience and able to compromise our request

- Paid extra for a better room, Totally Worth It! Big and clean, but no view - Great location, easy access to the Taipei main station. I can get to anywhere easily. My Tainan friend caught a High Speed Rail to visit me, it was easy for her to get here - I would recommend to go straight up to the ground and drag your suitcase on the street with you if you are taking the Airport Express to Taipei station (Do not walk all the way to the MRT train closet exit because there are stairs) - I like the restroom, bathtub and shower. The Japanese washlet is fantastic because you cannot just throw toilet paper in the toilet in Taiwan - Bed is a bit too firm for me, personally prefer softer mattress - Breakfast has limited choices, I wish there are more - Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I was waiting for a shop to restock something, since I didn’t have a local number, I left the hotel number to the shop, and big thanks to Peggy for her help!!!

Location wise was also ok, take Exit 5 from Ximen station. as we came with two huge luggage, we had to take the lift at Exit 6 instead. I am very satisfied with this stay. I originally wanted to stay a few more days when I came back from Taitung. Unfortunately, there are no more rooms ... First of all, the location of the room is very good, and it is very convenient to go anywhere ~~ I walk to Taipei Station to buy a train ticket, which is only a few minutes; walking to Ximending is also very close to the MRT station, but because Walking is very good, so I hardly ever took the bus or MRT during my stay. Speaking of which, it is also quite convenient to take a bus. A few minutes walk is a bus that reaches 9 minutes, which is simply too good. Second, there are too many places to eat nearby! I have included a few foods that I have eaten nearby, which I think are pretty good (unfortunately, the capacity of the pictures is limited, but there are many delicious places) Third, the room was very comfortable. The three windows in the corner were open, and they were already very ventilated, and the bathroom had windows. The rooms are also large, with a make-up table, desk and even a snack table shown in the picture. The facilities are also very complete, with hangers and hangers for clothes, and various shelves for things. Lavender shower gels and shampoos for bathrooms are also good. We stayed at Hotel Puri Taipei Main Station during our holiday in Taipei. The location is superb! It was less than 5 mins walk from Taipei Main Station MRT which links to exit Y13 of Taipei City Mall. Food wise, there's literally a whole stretch of choices along the street where the hotel is located. 7-11 is also just diagonally opposite the street across the hotel. The hotel check-in and check-out experience is very smooth and the hotel premise itself is clean and well kept. There is ample space for a standard double bed room which I booked. Staff is friendly and greets you every time you walk past. Overall a very good experience for a budget friendly hotel with great service and location. I would recommend holiday goers to book this hotel when in Taipei. Tip: The entire underground system at Taipei Main Station is very complex as it houses the Red, Blue, Taoyuan Airport, HSR and Bus interchanges. Avoid using the underground walkways if you're not intending to do shopping / window shopping as these passage ways are a maze and can get you lost looking for point A to point B.

City Suites is very responsive through their FB chat regarding requests and questions that you have regarding the hotel and pre-arrival. The location of the hotel is in between Taipei Main Station and Beimen Station. If you have large luggages, do use the entrance/exit nearer to TaoYuan MRT upon arriving at Taipei Main Station. There are escalators and lifts to assist for that entrance/exit. Otherwise you can walk through the underground mall (Taipei City Mall) to Exit Y21, hotel is 3 mins walk away from Y21. Do note that Exit Y21 is a few long flight of stairs. The hotel is 2 bus stops away from Ximending, 10-15mins walk away from NingXia night market and you can walk to many places from the underground Taipei City Mall. A lot of food around the area too! Upon arrival at the hotel, we had to do self check-in with staff on the side to assist us readily. We were given a room on the 3rd floor and with a bathtub. Room looked and felt clean, it's bright and space was decent without being too cramp. Hotel gives bottled water and they have water dispensers for guests to refill. I'm grateful that the TV have many channels to watch. Bed and pillow is pretty comfortable, and there were many hooks on the wall for us to hang up our jacket and clothes. The wall hooks were greart as we could air our clothes and jackets everyday when we're not wearing them! We had issues with the bathroom. Water pressure and temperature was alright, but the shower doors for the bathtub was constantly allowing water to leak onto the floor whenever we showered. Everytime after a shower, the bathroom floor will have a puddle just below the door. It is very dangerous and slippery, and we have to place the bath mat there to soak up the water making the bath mat very soggy. Hopefully the hotel can rectify this issue in the bathroom. Would also prefer this hotel if I could flush toilet paper down the toilet. I wasn't comfortable with the idea of throwing soiled paper into a waste bin due to hygiene (but had to get used to it for many places in Taiwan). WiFi was slow at times but at least I didn't not encounter the WiFi disconnecting from my devices. Staff was helpful when we needed to weigh out luggages and when we needed to discard food trash out from our room. As the hotel is a tall building, but City Suites is only from L1 to L3, do note that the sound insulation for this hotel isn't that good. We could hear cars and trucks passing by at night. Thankfully, Aircon for the room isn't noisy. If you're sensitive to noise, remember to bring earplugs. I won't mind staying at this hotel again if I'm back in Taipei!
