The King size bed and pillows in our room were very comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep. The sofa in the room was also very comfortable, and snacks and drinks were provided. It is better to have the bathtub and shower in the same place, because the two facilities in the room we stayed in were separated, so the floor became very wet. Especially during the National Day holiday, we can book a room for 4 people for more than 3,000 yuan, which is probably unprecedented in Taiwan. There are also hot springs to wash in, and the bathtub in the room can only accommodate 2 people. But the hot spring pool upstairs is very large, perfect for 3.5 friends to take a bath together. This should be my third time staying at Zhiben Laoye. The high-quality hot springs, rich natural ecological environment, and high-level services here are the reasons why we chose to spend the New Year here this time. We even watched a flying squirrel fly from the mountain into the tree next to the venue during the New Year's Eve party and stay there for a long time. In the lottery of the New Year's Eve party, the prizes ranged from the most luxurious master suite to the general double room prizes, and the prizes appeared at least 3 or 4 times. This is a very sincere prize arrangement. But there were two regrettable things that happened during this trip. First of all, when we checked in, maybe because of the New Year holiday, the housekeeping staff were overburdened and made some mistakes in cleaning the rooms. When we checked in, there were obvious stains on the sheets in one room. In another bathroom, the bath towels in the drawer where large bath towels are placed are scattered, and there is obvious dust on the bottom of the drawer. Another drawer had remnants of long hair. Although after contacting the housekeeping staff, they immediately apologized and replaced the room, but it was always a bit surprising. The biggest problem occurred in the afternoon of the second day after we checked in. There were five of us except me, who did not go to the swimming pool because of a wound on my hand. The other four people went to the outdoor pool to swim, and all four people came into contact with the floating board. That night, small, itchy red spots began to appear on the area where the float was in contact. The number and severity became more severe the longer the float was used, and it even affected sleep. But I, who did not go to play in the water, was not affected. After checking out and returning home the next day, I was still extremely itchy. I plan to seek medical treatment after get off work today. This is the biggest regret of this trip.

The only thing that needs improvement during this stay is that the swimming pool is open until 11:30 in the morning. As a result, before 11:15 (about 5 minutes ago), the bathers have been urging the swimmers to put chemicals in and leave the pool. 11:30. You should take into account the feeling of tourists on vacation. Don't change it casually. It feels very uncomfortable and really needs improvement. This is the second time I have stayed at Nigure Micro Hotel. The factors I chose again were the hotel’s excellent location, high convenience for people’s livelihood, close to Tiehua Village, a good place for a walk in the evening, and friendly service staff. I will consider it next time I go to Taitung. Higurashi Micro Travel is a pocket list🙏🏻 But there are two shortcomings in it 1. Because the hotel is very close to the transfer station, the rooms near the roadside are always noisy from large vehicles. I suggest that maybe changing the soundproof and airtight windows will improve it. 2. Because we were staying for three more nights, we called the front desk in advance on the second day to inform them that towels and bath towels would need to be replaced on the third day. The receptionist replied that she would help make the bed and clean the room. However, when we returned to the hotel at 8pm, the room was not available. The housekeeping was done and the towels and bath towels were replaced. We thought it was because there were not enough housekeeping staff or the female employee who answered the phone forgot to hand over the work!

I stayed at this hotel in May 9-10, 2023. It was less than ten minutes' walk from the bus stop where I got off, located at the center of a busy area. Since I booked on line, I didn't have the option of including breakfast, so the stuff told me and offered to get me free coupon for breakfast and also upgraded my room. I arrived while the elevator was being maintained (for abut two hours) and before check in time, but the stuff were super helpful and got a room for me, and carried my luggage upstairs for me. The location is perfect, I could walk to the biggest street market and find lots of restaurants nearby. Even though the hotel is on a busy street, it was pretty quiet inside. My biggest surprise was the breakfast. It was located on the top floor with lots of western and Chinese food selections. The best part of this hotel is the friendliness of the stuff, it made me feel at home. As a solo traveler, being able to chat with friendly stuff is very comforting. They answered all my questions, gave me suggestions, the best stuff in my one month long travel in Taiwan. I will definitely stay there when I visit Taitung again.

For the price and location, this is a great choice for hotel. We arrived early and we’re offered luggage storage which was great! The provided breakfast is pretty average however their milk tea is so yummy!! Probably the best milk tea I’ve head the whole time I’ve been in Taiwan! The cleanliness wasn’t too great. The beds and sheets were all clean but some of the surfaces (bedside table, desk and table) could have done with at least a wipe down. The bathroom was a bit grubby but definitely not unusable (just get like I needed to put shoes on each time I needed to go into the bathroom). All in all, this hotel did the job for two nights stay.

Because we arrived late, we used the self-check in method, and the owner was very enthusiastic to explain that the location of the homestay is near the train station. The cleanliness of the room is ok, only there are many branches, and the location of the reservation may be different. The restaurant I live in is on the roadside, and the room is not airtight windows, so the sound is obvious. Air conditioning is separate, but outdoor machine sound is also a bit loud, need to adjust to above 28 degrees to not noisy. This area should be Taitung urban area of new development zone, if the scope of tourism wants to close to the lively business district, do not recommend living in this area, because will have a bit of traffic time.

Although it is an old 5-star, the environment is really good. Especially during the National Day holiday, we can book a room for 4 people for more than 3,000 yuan, which is probably unprecedented in Taiwan. There are also hot springs to wash in, and the bathtub in the room can only accommodate 2 people. But the hot spring pool upstairs is very large, perfect for 3.5 friends to take a bath together. There are also several types of welcome drinks, all of which are delicious.
