The room is a duplex. The advertising pictures are close to the actual ones. It is equipped with household appliances and all daily necessities. For the Sabbath and Yom Kippur, you can cook your own meals to solve life problems. On the day of check-in, the landlord came to say hello. The overall experience can only be said to be okay. Facilities: This building seems to be very historical, has a unique appearance, and is suitable for taking pictures. Although the floor is not high, it is also equipped with an elevator. Old but does not affect use. Hygiene: The room is still very clean overall and has no peculiar smell. Are all Israelis like this? It still feels pretty good. But the details still need to be strengthened, such as the reinforced floor slabs on the second floor, cobwebs and dust. Environment: Close to Carmel Market, very convenient. There is a 711 downstairs and two supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient for shopping. In addition to holidays, there is also an art market downstairs. 10 minutes walk from the beach. On a clear day, you can still see the sea. pretty good. The only disadvantage is that it is difficult to find a parking space when driving by yourself, and you may even have to park far away. Service: The service was a little lagging. Considering the cultural and sports a**osphere of the stay, I sent an email in advance, but there was no reply. There is no lobby. You need to get the access code yourself and then find the key. It's like a treasure hunt. Did you call the landlord before getting a response?

Stay was spoilt by the bathroom being flooded every time we had shower. It took 10 DAYS for the owner to call a plumber to fix the problem. The apar**ent supplied was not the one advertised and paid for. If not for the fetid, wet bathroom it would have been a good place in an excellent location.

Brand new apar**ent, renovated and clean. Brand new refrigerator. Oven/stove-top, microwave, laundry machine, tea and coffee makers. Owner/manager was responsive to email and phone calls. When we did not know how to operate the stovetop a nice young man appeared within two hours and explained everything. ((We stayed one night at another apar**ent in Caesarea, and that one was neither clean, nor was the owner available at all -- even when there was no toilet paper. But that's a different story. So I really know to appreciate the good service I got here. )) We had our own little porch. To bad that it was unusually cold and rainy. We couldn't enjoy the sun. The location is ideal, steps away from the Carmel market, in walking distance of fabulous restaurants (kosher and not-so-kosher). And a nice synagogue is close by. (Probably several, but I needed only one.) I should mention that there was no hair dryer and no iron. Whether this is normal in Israel, I don't know. In America I usually find one or both of those items. If I have a chance to return to T.A. I will absolutely book this apar**ent again. Incidentally I booked three apar**ents in the building, one for me and two for other family friends who were overlapping with us in Tel Aviv.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed here for a few months and it was a terrible experience. As soon as I got there there was a foul smell from my bathroom. I asked multiple times throughout the course of 4 months that I was staying there for it to be fixed and it never was properly fixed. Also, every time I turned the sink on, there was water coming out of the floorboards… The landlord, Sam, gets grey hairs at the thought of spending a penny on maintenance. My WiFi went out pretty much every week, so I would have to contact the “technician” who is just Sam’s cousin. My doorknob fell off every week, this was really dangerous especially because a few times I locked myself in.sam never properly fixed it, he would just instruct me on how to temporarily screw it back in. Every time it rained in the apar**ent, all of the power went out. The hosts were never attentive to fix it, just making me turn the switches on the electricity box until something worked. The apar**ent itself had really thin windows. If you stay in the winter you will be very cold. Anyways, it is very noisy outside, even though I was told I was getting a quiet room.the curtains are terrible and every morning I was woken up from the light. There is a cleaner included in the service, but you need to call sam a few days ahead for it, and somehow she never actually comes the day you’re told that she’s going to come. I never knew what time she was coming and whenever i asked, i simply received an answer of “I don’t know. Sometime”. One time she barged into my room while i was sleeping without knocking because no one told me when she would come and she doesn’t have the curtesy to knock (it’s one cleaner for the whole building also…. Poor lady). They failed to mention that the cleaner RECORDS A VIDEO of your apar**ent every time she goes in to “make sure she does a thorough job”. I don’t know about in other countries, but in America this is a violation of privacy. She shared videos that showed all of my personal belongings and living habits with Sam and I thought that was beyond weird. Sam took every opportunity he could to try to shift the blame onto me for any and every maintence issue. I had so many issues with him and with the apar**ent. Shame thag such a beautiful building has gone to waste from poor management.

I'm going to give this place so many good points that I'm sure I'll look like a Bot! No seriously, if you visit Tel Aviv, this place is perfect. Everything was ready when we arrived and we had received all the necessary information to access the room (key in a safe at the entrance). The apar**ent was clean, spacious, comfortable and frankly a lot of the negative things I read weren't true. Okay if, to find a fault, a small edge is missing in the shower to place the soap. After hours of hiking through Israel, getting down in the shower was hard! Haha :D :D But honestly, nothing more to say! The neighborhood is really great, a stone's throw from the Carmel market, lots of nice restaurants and everything. Small downside, there is a lack of parking spaces in the area, especially in the evening, but there is paid parking just a stone's throw away. (Don't venture too far if you don't know how the colors of Telavivian squares work... on the last day the police took my car to the impound because I hadn't read a sign. But clearly that didn't work out well on nothing to do with House of Palm Just with my laziness to go to the paid parking haha). In short, a really great experience in this magnificent building, in a great neighborhood! Our apar**ent was a little set back from the street and we had almost no noise. When I return to Tel Aviv, it will definitely be there!

Not only did it smell of mold, it was also in several rooms, all photographically secured. The operator agreed to an early cancellation but refuses to refund our money...do not book under any circumstances!!!

The photos on the site do not relate to the actual condition and appearance of this hotel!! Dirt, mold on the ceilings, everything is shabby, the towels are stained dirty gray! Through the windows you can hear every word spoken on the street!! Terrible!!!
