St Regis lived up to it's reputation for service that goes above and beyond.....we had a problem upon arrival -:the fridge was missing. abd the spa wasn't working. This was disappointing as it was one of tbe reasons we had booked that hotel. Not only did they rectify the fridge within an hour/( minutes?), they also sent up a lovely tray with local treats and they offered us breakfast on the house. We could n't get the spa experience, but felt the manager, Frank, did his very best to make our visit special, and we were so appreciative. We would definitely book again, but know to check a few things beforehand in case the website is not up to date. At any rate, StRegis stands by its service and the manager was excellent. Kudos to Frank Wang!

We stayed in the Deluxe King room with a city view and had an excellent stay! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Every single staff member was unbelievably professional and kind, from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff. The food was delicious and the breakfast buffet had a nice variety of Western and Chinese options. We also enjoyed interesting cocktails in the lounge bar.

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

I went to Tianjin to watch a show with my classmates. I originally booked a special big bed online. After I arrived at the store, I upgraded to business for free. The room was much bigger. The room was called after I swiped in the card. I didn’t need to insert the card. The room was pretty clean. The toilet and shower are separated into two compartments, which do not affect each other. It seems like a passage outside the window, not the street view outside, which is a bit embarrassing😂. The location is not bad, behind the Hang Lung Plaza, it is very convenient to the commercial street and where we are going. The front desk service was not bad, I was very busy and helped us to photocopy the materials, and gave us a bottle of water when we checked out.

This happened twice. Thanks to the trip.com team - the issue was resolved by calling. TV has no foreign channels. ”Smart Home” is friendly only for Chinese citizens. If you don't know Chinese, I don't recommend staying here.

An old hotel suitable for both business and vacation. I chose it again during the holiday and it was still comfortable. The location is opposite Hebei Road on Wudadao. The night view on the street side is invincible. It is located near the scenic spots and it is very convenient to take a taxi to other attractions. The room is large and bright, the bedding is fluffy and comfortable to sleep, and the pillows are one buckwheat and one down; the bathroom is also relatively flush when it rains, and there are bathrobes, all of which are very new. The sound insulation in the room is not bad, especially the windows, but you can still hear people talking in the corridor, which means that the door sealing needs to be strengthened. This hotel is in a GREAT location for tourists (near heaps of great restaurants and bars - scenic area and Heping Road shopping) or business travellers (I was attending a conference at the Meijiang conference centre) and has really lovely big modern rooms. The downsides - there is only 1 lift for all 10 floors (which are dispersed throughout 24 floors) of the hotel so the wait for the lift can be frustrating, also the reception staff struggled with the fact I had made 2 separate bookings (to separate work from personal travel) for the same room even though it was carefully explained in Chinese and a note should have been recorded against the room - instead it meant my room wasn’t serviced properly on my last full day and also my room keycard was deactivated. The irritations aside, this is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again as the rooms really are so nice.

I really appreciate the very strategic location, it's just few hundred metres away from many famous attractions, such as little Italy. Or if you're looking for halal food, there are many muslim restaurants too. It's also very near to station too, the hotel's room is on 37 to 51 fl, really help with the magnificent views. Staffs are friendly, room's clean, nothing to complain about. I strongly recommend this hotel, as myself would definitely go back here.
