We stayed in the Deluxe King room with a city view and had an excellent stay! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Every single staff member was unbelievably professional and kind, from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff. The food was delicious and the breakfast buffet had a nice variety of Western and Chinese options. We also enjoyed interesting cocktails in the lounge bar.

Westin hotel facilities, service angel quality, and some business hotels are very different. A wide variety of breakfasts, new room facilities, comfortable beds, and overall excellent value for money was a very satisfying experience. St Regis lived up to it's reputation for service that goes above and beyond.....we had a problem upon arrival -:the fridge was missing. abd the spa wasn't working. This was disappointing as it was one of tbe reasons we had booked that hotel. Not only did they rectify the fridge within an hour/( minutes?), they also sent up a lovely tray with local treats and they offered us breakfast on the house. We could n't get the spa experience, but felt the manager, Frank, did his very best to make our visit special, and we were so appreciative. We would definitely book again, but know to check a few things beforehand in case the website is not up to date. At any rate, StRegis stands by its service and the manager was excellent. Kudos to Frank Wang!

I have expected a lot from this hotel but unfortunately I got disappointed here: Fist of all the check-in process needed about 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly and said I should take a seat first - only problem: there are just a few seats in the lobby. Many people had to stay and wait => the process was very slow which was very annoying to me and to other guests. This is the first five star hotel where I did not enter the gym. Reason: Very small gym and not much equipment. The gym and the pool are in the basement floor => the pool is very small too and the whole feeling in a basement floor is not convenient for me - I was here dissatisfied as well. The room was clean - as expected. The breakfast was disappointment too: the selection is good BUT the rice was hard, the pancakes inside still wet, the waffles too hard, baked stuff no taste at all. I went to another restaurant nearby fafterwards => the PRICE VALUE RATIO is NOT GOOD for the Ritz Hotel in Tianjin - I will not come back again. But I gave it a chance & the staff is really friendly...

Advantages: The room style is very Japanese, the hot spring water is an iron spring, and it is very comfortable to soak. The service staff is very enthusiastic. Disadvantages: Since the hot spring is in the room, the bedroom has no door, the wet and dry separation is not well done, very humid, the bedding is wet, northerners may not be used to it, it is recommended to add a dehumidifier. As a hotel, the room has no kettle, no small towels, no combs, no large trash cans, and the wardrobe cannot hang clothes, which is slightly inconvenient. There is ramen for breakfast, which is slightly perfunctory. We were very satisfied with the hotel's sanitary facilities. We booked the hotel for three days with only accommodation and no breakfast, and we went sightseeing every day. This hotel is in a GREAT location for tourists (near heaps of great restaurants and bars - scenic area and Heping Road shopping) or business travellers (I was attending a conference at the Meijiang conference centre) and has really lovely big modern rooms. The downsides - there is only 1 lift for all 10 floors (which are dispersed throughout 24 floors) of the hotel so the wait for the lift can be frustrating, also the reception staff struggled with the fact I had made 2 separate bookings (to separate work from personal travel) for the same room even though it was carefully explained in Chinese and a note should have been recorded against the room - instead it meant my room wasn’t serviced properly on my last full day and also my room keycard was deactivated. The irritations aside, this is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I would stay here again as the rooms really are so nice.

Check-in was quite easy considering the times that we are now living in. The room was quite big, with a nice view. Although, it would have been nice if there was a floor length mirror in the actual room, instead of hidden in a wardrobe — but that’s just a minor problem. The food at breakfast was quite bad, and a lot of the food under heat lamps was cold. Some of the foods were badly translated: “lemon water” was labelled as “lemon squash”. In saying that, the staff were very friendly and some did speak English.

Children who sleep unhonestly are friendly. The small sofa can just block the bed. The height of the bed is suitable and not afraid of falling. The location is excellent. Just for the couple's big bathtub room, quite good! The room was clean and tidy, with a small living room. I am particularly satisfied with the separation of wet and dry bathroom, and it is actually a smart toilet. Not bad. The transportation is very convenient. I came out of the Peace Joy City subway station and walked along the riverside road for five minutes. I also bought a bunch of flowers at the entrance of the west church and took pictures. The customer service lady is very patient and makes the arrangement clear. Must come often.
