2 nights stay at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. Expensive but well worth it. Extremely convenient location to Tokyo Disneyland, and is also near the Maihama station. Early access passes given to hotel guests are a huge plus point. The room itself is very Disney-themed as expected. As Disney fans, we love it. Check out was also convenient - we opted for the option to leave our packed bags in the room and then collected it from the bell desk when we finished our time at the park.

We stayed in a Beauty and the Beast room. It was lovely, and you can’t beat the location for Tokyo Disneyland. If you are changing hotels in Tokyo Bay they will send your bags for you. You can also drop your bags off at the welcome centre at the Maihama Station if you want to go straight to the park.

One: please note that Google translate was used as I only speak and write Japanaese. I live in a large minka in Kyoto with my 4 kids and husband. This was an amazing trip. When we got there the kids were are eager and the Staff were very welcoming. Our room was gorgeous, and the kids pretended to be prince's and princesses👸. The tv worked well and played the Disney Channel. Lol! My 4 year old daughter was eager to see that a pool was included. We went down and it was very clean. The food was good. The kids liked it. Us adults thought it could be better. It was close to the park which was nice. At nighttime the beds were comfy and the kids passed out. Breakfast was good, too. Everyone was so happy. We are totally coming back again as soon as we can.

FINAL VERDICT: I would revisit if we want to make most of Disneyland park 3 Line summary - Great for families who are big Disney fans and would like to make perfect memories & experience. Park Grand View room gets you view to the Disney castle, fireworks and the monorail, elevating the experience. - Location trumps all. Provides a cozy shelter very close to the Disney park which helped the family recharge (especially younger ones) and re-enter the theme park. - Inconvenient for visitors who do not speak English. Servers will try their best to attend to foreigners, but their language skills are limited and there are some services (not many) are only offered only to Japanese speakers WHEN: Feb 2024 WHO: Family of 3, includes a 2 year old daughter WHAT ROOM: Alcove Superior room with Park Grand View HOW: We visited the Tokyo Disneyland for 2 days in 2024 early February. Weather was very helpful despite it being Winter for Tokyo. 3 ~ 12 degrees celsius and mild with some clouds or sunny time to time. It was our 3rd Tokyo Disneyland visit and we wanted to explore the park seriously. The Disneyland hotel location is very helpful for this as its a mere 5 minute walk so we went to our room often to take rests and recharge. We had the Park Grand View room so we could enjoy the theme parks’ dreamy ambience even at the room, not to mention that we got to see all the fireworks comfortably in bed. Check in process and getting personalized service is inconvenient, especially if you consider how expensive the rooms are. Cast members are not well trained in English (they will still do their best) so conveying personal requests was cumbersome for me. Also some services (ex. soft copy access on photos taken by Disney photographers) are only available to Japanese speakers - I ended up switching my Disney app to Japanese to get more features from the app. TIPS: - You can only book Tokyo Disney Offical hotels (Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Miracoasta Hotel, upcoming Fantasy Springs Hotel etc) through their official website and not by 3rd parties. - You can do self-check in, which is much shorter than having to wait for a long line at 3pm sharp and getting more delays because the lobby casts are bad in English. - Hotel has a private garden that is only for guests staying at the hotel, which is a perfect realization of a Disney princess’s garden. - Better view rooms are offered through disney vacation packages so consider if you want to lock in a perfect room. *Disclaimer: 1. My reviews are very subjective and based on my own experience. 2. I NEVER WRITE PAID REVIEWS. 3. I may have biased towards family-friendly experiences since I am a dad to our family of 3. 4. I favor quality, time and experience over affordability

We booked the vacation package and the kids loved the hotel and Beauty and the Beast themed room, along with all the perks eg early access into the two parks (Disneyland and Disneysea), priority access, unlimited drinks etc. Disneyland and monorail just at the doorstep. The kids also had a makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the experience was good. We prefer the experience at Disney World at Florida though as princesses come to greet the girls. The one in Japan comparatively was much simpler. Overall, it was ok. Must also add that staff quality and guest services at Disneyland hotel is really a notch better than our experience at the Ambassador hotel. Staff are more well trained and effective at service delivery. Thumbs up for Disneyland Hotel!

The staff who helped me check-in doesn't speak much English, but she used a translator machine to help me understand. There was a guide to take us to our room and offered to bring us more postcards so each of us gets a set. The room and hotel has lots of Disney details in its decor. The room has a set of toothbrush, small plastic rinsing cup, slippers to take home. The room also has two complimentary reusable plastic Disney bags. Our room has a nice view of the park area. Guests also have free passes to enter the park minutes earlier the next day, which is a great help to skip the long queues of people lining up to get in the park. We were able to store our luggage in the lobby area the next day when we play at the park and pick them up end of day. It is a truly magical experience, even for adults! The room is very expensive but I think it's worth every penny, I can't wait to be back again!

Second Disney property I’ve stayed at. Getting the feeling they are nice and cute, particularly for the kids but it’s really the convenience you are paying for. Can’t beat the proximity and prioritized entry, etc especially considering how tiring the park will be. But a note on DisneySea. I was blown away. Great park. Beautiful, great rides (tower of terror) and night light show. Highly recommended. Best amusement park I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to plenty.

We stayed 2 nights at concierge turret room and 1 night a concierge cinderella room during Easter. The turret room had a very nice view, including the park, the monorail, the JR rail and bon voyage. The room is a very long walk from the elevator, but the view totally worths it. Some of my kids like this room even more than the hababal room at MiraCosta, because they can see the monorail train. It was a pity that for both nights we stayed, the firework was cancelled so we couldn't enjoy it from our room. Cinderella room was big and nice, although the view can't be compared with the turret room. We had room service breakfast, which was delivered on time at our requested time, and helped us to get on the limousine bus on time. We can also choose to have breakfast at Sherwood, although we didn't. The room service breakfast was good, especially there was a coffee drink (they give a bottle of condensed coffee and a bottle of milk to mix with, but I forgot the name) which was extremely good. Concierge room includes access to the lounge, which was really great (although I like the MiraCosta lounge a bit more). Breakfast was very good too (similar to BellaVista lounge breakfast at MiraCosta). Staff are generally nice and kind, and there were a few really stunningly charming staff at the lounge. I will remember this stay. Thank you Tokyo Disneyland Hotel for giving me the wonderful memory.

During my most recent visit to Tokyo, my friend and I stayed one night in one of the Alice in Wonderland themed rooms. We didn't just choose this hotel for the themed room, but also because of it's close proximity to the park and to take advantage of the Happy Entry aka Special Entrance Pass. We only spent one night but the experience was one I know I won't ever forget. From the interior decor, to the exterior grounds, there's an opulent air to that pictures can't quite capture. So, the check-in process was smooth and simple. English speaking staff definitely helped the process. Depending on what time you arrive, there could be a line of others wanting to get into their rooms too. It'll help if you have all the proper documentation needed. Getting our Happy Entry is in a separate line down at the end of the front desk. Get them after you check in. I don't recommend trying to get them in the morning of. On that note, people will arrive early at the park gates and camp so you don't want any delays if you want to take advantage of the early entry. The themed room touches go from the artwork down to the bathroom amenities. See my attached pics. As for the room - the beds were comfortable. Not exactly soundproof as you can hear muted sounds from the hallway and adjacent rooms. If it matters to you like it does me, the water pressure was excellent and the water temperature was nice and scalding. You can shower or take a bath. The toilet was a bidet that seems to be standard all over Japan. Or at least Tokyo from what I've seen. The check-out process was simple. Turned in our room key the next morning into one of the drop boxes on the way out. One nice touch, was that we were able to leave our luggage with the hotel while we enjoyed the day at the park. We just had to let them know what time we'd return to get them. That was after the park closed as we spent the entire day there. When we picked up our luggage that evening, another smooth and simple process. The staff also assisted with calling us a taxi to take us back to our Airbnb. We hung out and relaxed in the lobby until the valet staff came inside to let us know our ride was there. Excellent service from the moment we arrived until we left. Now, million dollar question - would I stay again? For a solo stay, definitely no. A little more than I'd like to spend for a place to sleep and shower. With others to soften the blow on the wallet and for the themed room and Happy Entry - I more than likely would.
