Hotel is absolutely stunning and the rooms are big by Tokyo standards. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the JR and the famous Shibuya Scramble, and about 4 minutes from the nearest exit / entrance to the subway. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the in house restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area as well. A little bit on the pricey side but worth it if you want a bit of luxury while in Japan.

There are many positive things to say about this hotel, the space is huge for a Tokyo hotel, very clean, and the location is more than excellent. However, am extremely disappointed and displeased by the service that was provided by a female Caucasian staff member of the team. Of our 7 days of stay here, we have only tried to make a single request, which was to make a restaurant reservation on the 21/5 in Hokkaido as I could not read or speak Japanese so I require assistance from the team. She initially wanted to dismiss me as soon as possible until a Japanese colleague came to assist us. Provided us with a restaurant reservation form and we filled it. Thereafter, she said she cannot reserve for us because the date of reservation is after the date that we are staying at. Firstly, this is such a simple request and I only made it because I’m unable to do so myself due to the language barrier. Secondly, I was appalled by her laziness and attitude when conversing with us. I have never encountered such horrible service by a hotel concierge in my life before, many others would be glad and happy to assist with such a simple request.

We stayed a Sakura Hatagaya 10 years ago with our then- teenage sons. We returned 10 years later and lots of improvements to the hotel. Staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful. They speak multiple languages including Japanese, English and French so I had no problems communicating with them. They are also helpful and when asked questions, provide us with clear communication. Though the rooms are a bit narrow, we like to stay here because it is 2 mins walk from Hatagaya station, to connect to Shinjuku station through the new Keio Line. We I’ve trying out various restaurants around Sakura Hotel. There is a post office around the corner, a chemist, a kombini, 100 yen shop just at the station entrancing and McDonalds both in the station and outside on the Main Street. Hotel is clean, convenient and very very quiet. I have no complaints about the location . If at all, next upgrade Sakura does, please try to get the amazing automated Japanese WC toilets. In that narrow toilet/ bathroom, it would be really appreciated.

It is close to my parents' elderly facilities and my sister's family, so I use 々. This is the only hotel I want in a perfect location. The front desk and the attitude and speed to deal with the problem are great, but I feel the aging of the building facilities. Especially air conditioner. When I stayed in winter, the temperature was not adjustable (whether it is hot or not. I got up many times in the middle of the night and adjusted it-I tell the hotel. The temperature adjustment in this room is also subtle (the hot day of May this year). The outdoor machine is exploding. The direction of the bidet in the shower toilet is right next to it at first and does not hit the butt. . . (Healed me immediately). Also, there is something that can be charged by USB near the bed. It's a standard of Le, but it's not. The deterioration of facilities and facilities that cannot be helped by human power, and the old place are conspicuous (compared to other hotels for those staying) I'll keep using it while complaining. I'm in trouble if it's closed due to full renovation work.

It's right at the exit of Ikejiri Ohashi Subway Station on the Dengen Line, one stop away from Shibuya Subway Station, and the transportation is very convenient. We stayed 3 nights. Our room was PALATIAL - the Suite above Reception. Simply the largest hotel room I have ever had anywhere. Service was superb, including fabulous breakfast in a beautiful dining area. Very quiet location, but with lovely local bars and restaurants, and only a few minutes walk to the centre of Shibuya. If you head in the other direction, you can walk to Yoyogi park in 10 minutes. We actively want to return as soon as possible. Thank you Shibuya Creston!

It is located at the end of dogenzaka and is a little far from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya, but there are many fashionable restaurants and quiet and good. We had lived in this area 20 years ago and knew it well so that was a key motivation for booking this place. Shimokitazawa is sort of a hip nearin neighborhood with good transportation by 2 different train lines. It has lots of small restaurants and bars and a surprising number of stores selling used American clothing for young hipsters. A few years ago the Odakyu railroad line was moved underground leaving room for a string of new buildings. First surprise is the hotel is over the new underground line - that is not a noise issue but it does mean if you take a taxi it an not reach the front door of the hotel although there is a cross street within 100m. Pluses: real king size beds are available at a modest price, coin operated washers and dryers available, breakfast includes option of decaf coffee - rare at this price point. Only breakfast is Western style with bagels (w/various fillings) and minestrone soup and several coffee options. Hotel looks it it was inspired by Marriott AC Hotel chain with minimal furnishings. Staff very helpful and mostly bilingual. Goof Covid safefty. Great Wi-Fi. No TV

To be honest, I didn't have any expectations about going to a ryokan in Tokyo. The room is much smaller than expected and there is a lot of dust, so much so that you can see it. However, it is worth recommending that the bathing facilities (hot springs) were so enjoyable to use, and the breakfast was prepared well. Although it is not enough to enjoy a full day in the ryokan, it is recommended for those who want to play outside, come to the accommodation, relieve the fatigue of the trip with a hot spring bath, and experience a Japanese breakfast. It is 2 minutes away from the subway station, and you can also get to Shibuya and Shinjuku within 30 minutes. There are convenience stores (Lawson, 7-Eleven) at the nearest station, and a 10-minute walk away is a bar that is open until dawn. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a ryokan in Tokyo.
