I loved the family room….even though I was on my own this time. The appliances, tv & fridge, had all been renewed, the room and bathroom were both very clean, and the bed & pillows were awesome. I slept like a baby. The owner of the motel was lovely and most accommodating. The Spanish Lace Motel is definitely now my number 1 place to stay in Townsville. 🫶

Stayed for the Pink concert, these guys had all the information for the buses in clear view for us so we did not have to search for ourselves, they made our stay very enjoyable and easy, will definitely stay there again, and would definitely recommend

Our stay was most enjoyable the management were great to deal with from start to finish. The room was clean and bright the beds were very comfortable with nice fresh linen. Bathroom had plenty of light over the mirror. We highly recommend staying at this motel you won't be disappointed

Staff was super friendly. Emergency booking. Staff greeted my family like their own. Pool was clean. Laundry facilities are basically brand new and are free for guests to use. Heaps of covered parking for guest with spare parks if traveling with 2 vehicles. Beds were VERY comfortable Aircon is cold and room comes with movable desk fan so you can have it where YOU ant it. Looking forward to being able to bring our fur baby on our next trip to Townsville. Oh and close to heaps of food options as well. Spanish Lace has So much going for it and the prices are affordable too.

Our stay was fantastic. Our room was really good with enough beds for us to spread out. We had enough room to put our porta cot and store our bike and bike rack while we stayed. The owners were also able to provide us with an extra night at the last minute. There are very little pet friendly places that allow people to stay with animals. This place was very accommodating

Such a great family place to stay, definitely helped us when we needed it aswell would definitely recommend, kids enjoyed the pool and the dogs loved the garden, was extremely close to food and shopping. Very grateful for the hospitality if our hosts will stay again next time

We visit Townsville about 4 x each year. We have tried many accomodations but Spanish Lace is by far the best. The owners go over and above for you and your dog to make your stay a good experience. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Great facilities near by, dog friendly restaurants and parks. Close to town Center and Hospital. Highly recommended!!!!!!

It would have been great to have received the heads up that there would be a dozen or so workers & some hangers on, all from the same company whom thought it was a better option to drink & smoke in the Motel Carpark rather than venturing to an appropriate licence premises. Then after sunset they were reasonably silent, till the “Door Banging Orchestra” commence at approximately 0500 going constantly through to around 0630. Grease needs to be cleaned from the shower floor & the two filthy chairs in the corner need to be removed as what was written on the “We Care Note” left in our room.
