Hotel Cocoa

The room was large and quiet so I was able to spend a comfortable time! The staff were very friendly and I was able to enjoy my trip to Hokkaido without any inconvenience. Is the fireworks display lifted in various places this year? However, the fireworks in Toya here are the best! You can see it from your room, and if you want to experience more powerful fireworks, you can move to the lakeside to see it! (I was satisfied with the fireworks from the room ..) There is a little distance to the city, but I personally didn't particularly care. I definitely want to come next year!

Different from the east side of the hotel, Beihai Hotel is located on the westmost side of Wenquan Street. It is quiet and leisurely with fresh air. There are no crowded tourists, only birds and flowers. There are not 33 rooms in the hotel. They are basically old-fashioned tatami rooms. Push the floor-to-ceiling glass door to enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Toya. It should be noted that there are two room types in the tatami room. The smaller one does not have a bathtub. The facilities in the room are outdated but generally cleaned. People who do not smoke must explain to the hotel because the smoke in the smoking room is very heavy = ͟͟͞͞ ( ꒪⌓꒪ *). I booked a room in Ctrip with dinner for a friend. I booked a mountain-view twin room at Lotte and the hotel upgraded the lake-view tatami. The dinner was very hearty, with raw fish platter, crab legs, and lamb pot, etc., it was enough to eat alone! It ’s too much for three of us to eat four ._ (: 3 ”∠) _The uncle at the front desk of the hotel is always slow, the aunts in the restaurant are very enthusiastic, and there is almost no problem in communicating in English. The hotel is an eight-minute walk from the Toya Onsen Bus Station and the ferry terminal. At the front desk of the hotel, you can get coupons for the Pearl Mountain Cable Car, Bear Ranch, and the ferry. The Nakajima Forest Walk is worth walking around, and Japanese people along the way will meet each other. greet. The hotel does not have a shuttle bus, so you need to take a bus at JR Toya Station, and it is more cost-effective to buy a round-trip bus ticket at the station. Basically all the stations and attractions have a case, providing maps and profiles in Chinese, which is very convenient.
Hotel Grand Toya

Clean dated traditional Japanese hot spring hotel with traditional Japanese fine dinning dinner and breakfast. Our room comes with lake view, quiet and beautiful. Food and service was good. No complaint since the price was really cheap. Always see someone complaining the traditional Japanese hot spring hotels are dated, PLEASE ask yourself how much you pay. The price includes fine dinning. It's about quality of food, NOT quantity. Can you get a hotel room with fine dinning of same quality of food with the same price anywhere else? This is a very unfair comment to this hotel. The rule of the game never changes: You have to pay for quality.

I made a reservation in a hurry the day before, but it was close to the rental in the corona pass, and it was very cheap and I was able to stay overnight in a good location on the edge of Lake Toya. So there is no problem in the shared toilet. There was also a washlet in a western toilet. There was a washbasin in the room. The window was also open and the room was smoking. The view of Lake Toya was good from the window, and the fireworks that rose every night from May to the end of October looked beautiful. The hot spring is quite hot, but it was comfortable to get used to it. The parking lot was a lot of signboards for different shops, so it was a lot of fun. There are convenience stores and delicious taverns nearby, and there is no inconvenience with breakfast and dinner and no problem.

What a beautiful cabin, the room is so big, and there is a big bathtub for soaking, the room is not air-conditioned, my stay in August is very cold at night, really don’t need air-conditioning, but be aware that there are a lot of bugs because of the mountains Worm, can't open the terrace, the room can be seen to Lake Toya fireworks but there are few fireworks, so we all left to see
Toya Kanko Hotel

We decided to spend one night in Tōya-ko on our way down to Hakodate and It was definitely worth it. Not only because of the beautiful scenery but also thanks to this hotel. It is definitely an old hotel, but in my opinion, it only added to the ,”traditional Japanese” vibe of the place. The room was very spacious for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids, and it was such a pleasant change to other new and modern yet very tiny hotels we normally stay at. Breakfast was excellent, with so many traditional dishes to choose from. And the onsen right in the hotel is another big plus. I'm not a huge fan of the onsen myself, but I absolutely loved the cave looking onsen and the one located outside. The whole hotel kind of reminded me of Ryokan. But what is hands downs the best about the place, is the view you get from your room, which is spectacular. The view of the lake Tōya and Mt Yōtei is simply breathtaking.
