Deteriorated, ugly, dirty and smelly. Even before entering the hotel things looked dire. We had to wait for a long while to get someone to open the gate which is permanently locked but then realized that the door to get into the lobby is also permanently locked and the reception empty. So no way to get out in case of emergency of fire or earthquake. We left our luggage but already thinking of bailing out. When we went back to get our stuff resigned to just lose our deposit, we had to wait to get in again and then, when we came down, the doors were locked and nobody was in the hotel to open for us. Those were 10 minutes of Hotel California horror and just as we were ready to call the fire department, someone unrelated to the hotel opened, thank god. Don’t believe the photos of the rooms.
