My Sarasota Getaway

I never did get a chance to live on this property because when I showed up for reservations, there was no vacancies. I need someone to call me at 770-402-9936. I need my refund.

Our room was cute with a beachy atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again!

The dirtiest motel. Non-functional ac/heating unit. Sink falling off bathroom wall, shower fixture falling off. NO smoke detectors.

This motel is just off highway 41 in Nokomis. Nokomis Beach is just a short drive away. It is quaint as well as quiet.

This is always our choice when visiting Nokomis, its an older hotel but has that friendly Old Florida feeling. Theres a great pool, friendly helpful staff. I have no compaints and Will be back again soon! I have stayed in 2 different rooms here and no problems with either one! If your looking for the Ritz go somewhere else. If your looking for comfortable and friendly, easy going this is your place! Its literally like 3 mins from the beach!

Upon arrival was told my reservation was over booked and I couldn't get the room I reserved. I had traveled with my own food to cook for to dietary needs. I had to throw it all away because I had no way to cook it and no room in my fridge because it froze all my food. I was put in a double queen bed. Dirty room, dirty appliances. Went to the dollar store to put our own bed sheets and blanket and pillow case on. Got Clorox wipes to wipe down the whole room. The facility was under going construction and it didn't look like anything you see online. Very disappointed. Will not be back

Parking is tiny and very cramped. Room was decent. Staff was great.

This is a very outdated hotel. A lot needs to be fixed and updated so cleanliness is difficult to rate and hard to see. Ceiling fan was broken and all bulbs were missing. 2 Air conditioners in the room but only one worked, overtime but it was cool. However, the woman that checked me in was wonderful. It's just extremely old but the price reflects that. Checked for bedbugs and didn't see any.

Well I stayed there a year ago I thought it was a cute relaxing stay was clean then. However it was the same situation as before no one was in the office I reserved a room. I had to stand in the hot Sun as a staff had me standing unaware a guest was coming and making calls to the owner to see who I was, she finally lead me to my room not the office to take a photo of my ID, they don't seem to want to use the office that is advertised it's always closed no staff to help Them last stay it was decorated nice but this time just a shabby looking bed, what really made me want to give a zero is the bathroom, they had aluminum foil on the bathroom window as a curtain I could not believe it how uncaring and cheap can a business be you can get a curtain at the dollar store. Last the tile in the shower is so filthy look like you can get a staff infection. I dropped the soap picked it up was covered in human hair tons of it, no attempt to impress a guest and the room was not cheap, it also smelled of people like the last guest aroma was lingering in the air soon as you opened the door. I wish I didn't have to give this review but the hospitality industry has gone down the drain, what could be a beautiful property has turned into neglect and no care for paying guest comfort, the pool area is unkept and unwelcoming do do t think you go have a easy relax by the so called pool area.
