Service is good with Onsen. Room is alright as of environment protection standard. Breakfast is not of value when compared to other Japanese hotels.

The quality of the breakfast was high.
The room was a business type, but there were 2-3 books on the bookshelf, so I had an enjoyable stay.
Regarding the hot springs, it is also recommended for those who like hot springs and saunas, as it comes with a sauna and is a natural hot spring.

This time, I had to work near Minami Wakkanai Station, so I decided to stay at a nearby hotel. The hotel's exterior and lobby look old, but the rooms have been renovated and are very clean. There is also a large public bath, although I did not use it this time. There are many restaurants near the hotel, making it convenient to eat out. For breakfast, I was very satisfied with the variety of boiled dishes and many local dishes. This was my first trip to Wakkanai, and I looked for a place to stay near Wakkanai Station, thinking it would be convenient, but I couldn't find it, so I decided to stay here after seeing reviews that said it was ``convenient in the downtown area.'' The downtown area = dining area (night town) is lively (in a good sense) like a local area, and convenience stores and coin laundry are conveniently located nearby. The twin rooms in the new building are spacious, clean, and quiet. The bath is also warm and comfortable due to the use of hot springs. And most of all, I was very satisfied with the breakfast buffet, which had home-cooked items that made use of local produce, rather than the usual Japanese and Western food!

Use the single room in the east building. The exterior looks a little dated, but the rooms have been renovated with a modern feel and have everything you need, so I was able to spend a surprisingly comfortable time there. The large underground bath was a yellow-green hot spring common in the Soya region, and was comfortable. The breakfast was satisfying with local ingredients. The staff's response was, well, typical in this area where they don't show much hospitality, but overall it was a comfortable hotel. It's a little difficult that the parking lot is always crowded.
