Days Inn by Wyndham Whitecourt

Nice big room with microwave, fridge and small coffee maker. Has a separate seating area with couch, coffee table and a desk. Perfect for a quick overnight stay if you are travelling someplace. Apparently breakfast is available in the morning. Several fast food joints in the area but not walking distance.

I did not like how it took so long to check in. Considering i used ******* 4 hours prior to check in. I drove 12 hours. The last thing i needed was that. Im guessing because i had a pet he had to redo my paperwork? The shampoo dispenser did not work and when i lifted it to check why it was really gross dirty, so i did not wash my hair. We watched the breakfast attendant get the ham from the fridge and pick 3 pieces out with bare hands, before he realized we were watching and then grabbed a fork.

The toilet was unflushed when arrived in the room, dirty boot marks in the floor of the bathroom, the public washroom had urine dried to the seat and was out of toilet paper. Beds were clean but garbage beside night stand on the floor.

This hotel was rated at 8.8. How I will never know! They rig their own ratings perhaps? It boasted a hot tub on the site we used and there was definitely no such thing offered. The beds were hard. The pillows and comforter clean but in need of replacing. Very outdated and not what we consider to our standards. Walking in to a group of what looked like staffs friends hanging out and oogling us in the entrance made us quite uncomfortable. Had we known what we know now we definitely would not stay here as there looked to be a few much nicer places in town.

Breakfast has room for improvement. Stayed an extra day and housekeeping never came in.

Service was nice. Bed was cozy. Breakfast was ok. Walls are bit thin though.

Property was clean and quiet. Good place to stay overnight while on the go.

The beds were like rocks! Very hard and uncomfortable. The smell in the lobby wasn’t nice as it was ethnic smell and very strong.

This hotel is such a bargain! The room was in excellent condition and clean. And they provide a full buffet breakfast with eggs, meat, a waffle maker, etc. They have nice Dove soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner (not the cheap stuff that most hotels have). I think the only downside was that the Internet was slow. But I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
