Best Resorts in Wuhan

The hotel room boasts fabulous views that can captivate any guest. However, the charm is dampened by dated furniture and decor. While the scenic backdrop provides solace, modernizing the interior would enhance the overall experience and make it truly unforgettable.

My family of four chose this hotel with a swimming pool in Wuhan for a trip. It is really cost-effective. The location of the hotel is very good, right at the subway entrance. The hotel has a free parking lot. The beautiful lady at the front desk who checked in was very good and gave me free service. Upgraded to the ladies' floor. The floor is very quiet. Every detail of the room is well done. It's a suite. The sofa in the living room is very comfortable. The master bedroom has a bathtub. The children like it very much. The big bed in the bedroom is very comfortable and the pillows are also very comfortable. , lying on the bed feels like being wrapped. My favorite is the hotel's swimming pool. The water temperature is very suitable. There is a gym and a swimming pool. The water depth is 1.4 meters, which is just right for children to play. The front desk staff who handled the swimming registration were very nice. They noticed that we were not wearing swimming caps and asked if the children needed swimming rings. 🛟 One is lent to us for free, but normally we need to pay to rent it. Thank you to the hotel for its service and staff. I will choose this hotel next time I come to Wuhan. Supplementary hotel location is just over one kilometer away from the pedestrian street. It's very convenient to take a taxi or subway.

This is a little bit harsh in the hotel, but had paid extra for the executive sweet, only to be told after I checked in that all the facilities were closed. I don't live very far from this hotel, but was hoping to enjoy the spa and the executive lounge after a football tournament close by. All the facilities, spa, swimming pool, gym, sauna were all closed. Even the executive lounge was off limits. This was not mentioned when booking and I was unable to get any refund. It's a lovely hotel, but they really struggle to clarify if anything is actually operational post covid.

The hotel's environment, sanitation, services, breakfast, and travel are really all-inclusive! ! ! ! ! The hotel is in an excellent location and can directly cover internet celebrity check-in attractions + dining: less than 100 meters away is the ”Bagong House” where internet celebrities check-in. It must be mentioned that the ”Hankou No. 2 Factory” soda at the intersection of Bagong House is very delicious, 8 It’s not expensive. Just walk 50 meters to Wuhan locals’ “Three Towns for People’s Livelihood”. Don’t over-interpret the blogger’s premature recommendation. It’s better to take a taxi to travel far than to experience the locals’ “Three Towns” collection. Town people's livelihood ”Three fresh bean curds, fried buns, and hot dry noodles are the best!” Speaking of which, 2 meters across from Sanzhen is the famous ”Liu Yihu” lotus root noodles, and next door is the ”Chicken Crown Dumplings” and ”Glutinous Rice Chicken” which are so delicious! ! ! When you go out of the hotel, turn right and go up the steps 5 meters to the river beach. In short, this is the best hotel choice for eating, drinking and staying on Lihuangpi Road! ! ! The front desk service was very heart-warming. When I learned that I had to catch an early flight, I contacted the kitchen to prepare a takeaway breakfast. It was like a family! Give Fanxiang Hotel a thumbs up~ This trip, the beautiful Wuhan cruise ship, and the loving Wuhan citizens, I will go there often~

First off, I want to say that the housekeeping department was wonderful. They were not only great cleaners but they were also very thoughtful about checking when we would be out of the room during the day if they happened to show up when we were there. A few other things that were great about the hotel: the spectacular location (it's near so many great restaurants in a very walkable area), the big empty swimming pool with a view of the city, the generosity with face masks, and all staff seemed well trained in hospitality... So it breaks my heart that our arrival at the hotel so completely marred our stay. When my kids and I walked into the hotel one of the staff--I'm afraid I didn't catch her name in my shock, but I believe she was the manager on duty--grabbed a handful of gloves and handed them to us as we were still struggling to pull out all the green codes required of us (we were told to show two codes initially and then later would go through many more codes in a quest to see which would be accepted). She started the conversation by asking if we were leaving and when we said we were checking in, she asked to see the tracing app and immediately declared all the places we had been to as dangerous (the app was green and there were no asterisks at that point, I would later gain an asterisk thanks to being in Wuhan). They were not. We had travelled carefully, tracking the news of outbreaks and did our best to avoid all dangerous locations and crowds. We explained this to her and walked her through every place on our trip that we had been, but she refused to accept any of this. She kept insisting everywhere we had been was dangerous. It didn't matter to her how many green codes we had. We were foreigners that had come to Wuhan from a city in Jiangsu, taking a route that travelled near provinces where there were COVID-19 cases, and that meant we were dangerous. I want to be sympathetic. People in Wuhan had a much worse 2020 than anyone else in China. I can only imagine how terrifying it must be to have another significant outbreak a year later (we further had the bad luck of arriving in Wuhan on the same day as new cases). The hotel staff gave us a free fruit plate and they gave my daughter a stuffed animal, which she adored. But I was also travelling alone with two kids who were so traumatized by the experience (they were worried that we would be taken to a hospital or quarantine center and separated for who-knows-how-long) that they initially refused to eat dinner and still talk about the experience a week later (it didn't help that they noticed a Chinese guest arrive and check in without a face mask while we were still being interrogated with gloves and masks on and waited for a doctor to come and clear us). When the kids finally did decide they would eat, so long as we didn't leave the hotel, we discovered there was no longer ocean fish or seafood on the menu because of the virus which was interesting because we would find plenty of places outside the hotel that still offered salmon. Later when we tried to go to the Thai restaurant in the ball, we were told it was not open to us because of COVID-19 restrictions even though two lovely ladies who looked shocked to see us in the elevator were welcomed in. I assume there was some small private engagement or meeting that wasn't open to the public as there was no information anywhere that said the hotel restaurant was closed to the public. So I am divided on my feelings on this hotel. I want to believe it is a well run hotel and we were just unlucky to arrive on the wrong day. I can't really see myself staying here again if I return to Wuhan. My kids and I didn't really feel welcome here.

While the hotel itself was fine (bit run down and in need of maintenance) and the staff was friendly and helpful, it was frustrating that every single activity for kids (except the soft play area) was extra charge. Also, both outdoor pools were empty and this was not mentioned anywhere before booking. This was disappointing as the kids looked forward to swimming. At least the indoor pool was open. The screen golf area was also changed to a kids arcade area, so no golf. Breakfast buffet was good and the executive lounge access is highly recommended.

The location is pretty good if you want to visit the yellow crane tower. The staff was very friendly and check in was very easy. The floor could have been cleaner and it smelled like cigarette in the shower. The breakfast was decent.

We had a fantastic stay at the Fairmont Wuhan to celebrate a birthday! The Guest Service Manager, Irina Guo, was extremely helpful and accommodating to make the experience extra special. The food and service at the hotel restaurant and bar, 1907, was first rate. Would strongly recommend a cocktail and dinner set. The service staff was made aware of the birthday by Ms.Guo, and Josie greeted us with a ”Happy Birthday” accompanied by a complimentary glass of champagne. The breakfast was also first rate with pretty much anything you could want. Following breakfast, we were greeted by another guest service staff member, Guillaume, who ensured we had everything we needed. It was truly the pinnacle of hotel service! 5 stars.

Located at the front of the Wuhan expo center are the intercontinental and Holiday Inn hotels. A good location for a river view and relaxing weekend. I chose the intercontinental, as our experiences at the Shanghai Wonderland and Chongqing Raffles intercontinental had been fantastic. So I booked this for our anniversary with high expectations. The hotel is grand and the rooms are lovely. The lobby cafe where breakfast is served is huge with a venetian style interior and roof. The hotel restaurant serves Cantonese style food and is worth a visit. A few photos attached. The service at the restaurant was sub par, and the bill was wrong, which we got the pleasure of finding out when the restaurant began to ring our room repeatedly around 10pm to ask me to go back and pay 30Yuan extra. Which wasn't a problem, but after 4/5 calls late at night to be told I'd walked out without paying down the phone was disappointing when I paid the bill I had been presented with. On our a trip we were quite disappointed to find out on arrival that the swimming area was completely closed, as this would have been useful information before booking. Our trip to Wuhan was great, but the service at this intercontinental didn't live up to their colleagues and previous experiences.

This hotel near Aisha International School is the only one who feels that the waiter at the front desk has the most friendly attitude. They will take the initiative to share the most cost-effective room type and recommend me. What is more pleasant is that the room will be so intimate to give you desserts and fruit plates. It was very late when we checked in. The hotel's Chinese restaurant actually had staff on duty and ordered three dishes to be delicious! Such a good hotel, you must share it with the parents who need it. Facilities: very complete Hygienic: super clean Environment: very warm Service: very warm
