The Westin Wuhan Hanyang

During this Spring Festival trip, I stayed in Wuhan for two nights, both at the Westin Hanyang. The hotel facilities are very new and the service staff are very enthusiastic and greet everyone when meeting. When I arrived at the hotel by taxi, the waiter at the door was very responsible in helping to open the door and pick up the luggage. After checking in, someone helped lift the luggage to the elevator. The hotel's breakfast is on the first floor. The restaurant is very large and the food is decent. There are some special snacks from Wuhan. Overall, it's OK. The executive lounge offers afternoon tea and desserts, and after 17:30, there is also a happy hour dinner with several hot dishes, some desserts and fruits. If you don't want a big meal, it's quite rich. The room is relatively clean and the size is quite satisfactory. The only drawback is that the room is a bit hot. Even with the air conditioner turned on, the lowest temperature in the room is still over 25℃. There is a Moorish city around the hotel, just a 5-minute walk away. Everything is available for food, drink and entertainment, which is very convenient. Overall, the whole family is satisfied with the hotel.
Intercontinental Wuhan

Located at the front of the Wuhan expo center are the intercontinental and Holiday Inn hotels. A good location for a river view and relaxing weekend. I chose the intercontinental, as our experiences at the Shanghai Wonderland and Chongqing Raffles intercontinental had been fantastic. So I booked this for our anniversary with high expectations. The hotel is grand and the rooms are lovely. The lobby cafe where breakfast is served is huge with a venetian style interior and roof. The hotel restaurant serves Cantonese style food and is worth a visit. A few photos attached. The service at the restaurant was sub par, and the bill was wrong, which we got the pleasure of finding out when the restaurant began to ring our room repeatedly around 10pm to ask me to go back and pay 30Yuan extra. Which wasn't a problem, but after 4/5 calls late at night to be told I'd walked out without paying down the phone was disappointing when I paid the bill I had been presented with. On our a trip we were quite disappointed to find out on arrival that the swimming area was completely closed, as this would have been useful information before booking. Our trip to Wuhan was great, but the service at this intercontinental didn't live up to their colleagues and previous experiences.
Hilton Wuhan Riverside

This is a little bit harsh in the hotel, but had paid extra for the executive sweet, only to be told after I checked in that all the facilities were closed. I don't live very far from this hotel, but was hoping to enjoy the spa and the executive lounge after a football tournament close by. All the facilities, spa, swimming pool, gym, sauna were all closed. Even the executive lounge was off limits. This was not mentioned when booking and I was unable to get any refund. It's a lovely hotel, but they really struggle to clarify if anything is actually operational post covid.
V-Continent WuHan Hotel

Zhuankou Economical Development Zone (International Expo Center)
I booked a double bed room, and the bed was very comfortable to sleep on, with a feeling of sinking slowly, and fell asleep quickly. Nice texture. There are self-service laundry rooms on the 9th and 15th floors of the hotel, as well as a gym. After eating, I walked on the treadmill for half an hour, and I felt much more comfortable. Dandan at the front desk also helped to copy documents for free, nice. The equipment near the hotel is very convenient, the shopping center is opposite, and the location is very convenient.
