Japanese Onsen Ryokan Kohakuen

The Gubaiyuan Hotel in Shihe Hot Spring Township has an elegant environment, good hot spring quality, good attitude of the waiters, and comfortable and large rooms. You can see the Southern Alps, and the breakfast is delicious. It is a good hot spring hotel.

It's old in a very good way, but it feels nostalgic. The building has a nostalgic feeling that makes you feel like you've traveled back in time to the 1960s and 1970s, but it's all very carefully cleaned, so there's nothing unpleasant about it, and I rather felt that it had a wonderful characteristic that you can't find anywhere else. We swim together in a pond with beautiful water, and unlike other facilities, the dining area is new, and the meals are quite substantial! The hot springs were very pleasant, and the staff were all kind and smiling. I want to go again.

One of my favorite inns in Isawa Onsen. The restaurant was renewed in a private room style on the website, but I thought it was for people with a high plan. However, this time it was a standard plan, but I was able to eat in a semi-private dining room, which was very comfortable. Also, I always thought this kaiseki meal was good, but it's getting more and more beautiful, and my spouse is very satisfied. He said, "This is the rule at Isawa Onsen." BYO Yamanashi wine (with corkage fee). The dessert Shingen feng shui mochi is a dessert that can only be eaten in the summer, so I was impressed. It went well with the brown sugar honey. Breakfast was a buffet, but it was a semi-private dining room, so I was able to eat slowly. There was also a number of items, which was good. There were also two types of natto. There were various types of fruit, and it was sweet and well chilled and delicious. When I thought I heard a cool tone in the lobby, it was the tone of a bell worm. I felt the thoughtfulness of a summery inn.

We asked for the 90-minute all-you-can-drink plan. I have been to Isawa on a monthly hot spring trip with my husband and wife many times, but this was my first visit to Hotel Kohakuen. The breakfast was a buffet, and it was delicious with a wide variety of items. After dinner, there was a fireworks display, and I enjoyed it in the lounge on the top floor and the special seats. The bath was also a little narrow, but it was good hot water, and I was able to enter it many times. The customer service also has a sense of hospitality and is pleasant, and when you pass each other, a pleasant greeting is impressive. Looking at the reviews, there are various evaluations, but it was a good impression for our couple. My aunt lives alone in Yamanashi, so when I go to see how my aunt is doing, I want to take care of her.

The front desk was nice and gave me grape juice when I checked in. Women can choose a colored yukata. The room was 12 tatami mats and a wide veranda (with a sofa set), and flowers were arranged between the alcoves. It was a little old feeling, but it was a beautiful room. The bath on the 7th floor is a large public bath, and you can see the mountains from the windows on the left and right of the bath. The open-air bath feels like going in alone at this time of year, but it's refreshing to be blown by the wind with a good view. The hot springs are gentle and slightly slippery, and the hot springs are flowing out, so I think it's a good bath. It's a gender change. Dinner was sophisticated. It looked beautiful and every item was delicious. The Shingen chicken sukiyaki was unique. Yamanashi wine can be BYOed at Isawa Onsen, so I bought the wine I bought (1000 yen for bring-in). I was grateful that the wine was served with a lot of ice from a large wine cooler. Looking at the drink menu, local full bottles of wine start at around 2500 yen. Breakfast was a buffet at the venue on the 8th floor with a nice view. Ozokyo mountain spreads out in front of you and it is a good scenery. Even with alcohol disinfection, masks, vinyl gloves and a buffet, the corona countermeasures were perfect. It was in a refrigerated case such as juice and milk, and the glass was cold. Yatsugatake's large natto was delicious. The fine-view hot springs, the food, and the hospitality of the staff are all very good and comfortable, so I'm sure I'll be back.

石和温泉駅から車で数分の距離にある中級温泉ホテルです。 大浴場はちょっと狭いかなとは思いましたが湯量は問題なし。風光明媚な場所ではないので、露天風呂は単にベランダに風呂桶があるといった風情です。 夕食は和牛のしゃぶしゃぶと陶板焼きのコースをいただきましたが、出来栄えはまあ合格点。朝食のビュッフェはバリエーション豊富で良かったと思います。 問題は館内の構造で、バリアフリーを標榜していますが、客室によっては、大浴場へのエレベーターまでの間に５段ほどの階段があります。この段差を回避するためには、いったん１階に降りなければなりません。また、大浴場内に手すりはありません。 客室はツインベッドの部屋でしたが、広さは特に問題なし。 テーブルが小さく、荷物置台はなく、ベッドサイドテーブルもないので、こまごまとした手荷物を出すときには不便を感じました。 温泉ホテルなのでタオルやバスタオルを干す必要があるのですが、タオル掛けは個室浴室脱衣所にしかないので乾きにくいと思います。結局ハンガーを窓際に吊るして干しましたが……。 ベッドの枕元にコンセントがあるので携帯電話の充電は問題ありません。 照明はベッドサイドにスイッチがなく、手元灯りもないので少し不便です。 石和温泉の温泉地としての特徴として仕方がないのですが、温泉があるということが唯一の特色なので、子供が楽しむ施設がなく、子供連れ向けではないと思います。 同行者（母、80代）の言としては、朝食ビュッフェの時に、トレイを載せるワゴンを貸してくれたのは大変助かったとのことです。
