The hotel is a once a lifetime experience. The hotel is located on top of a steep hill next to the tourist site Ropeway. If you miss the shuttle bus and arrive at night, the walk up the hill can be physically demanding especially during winter with tree barks scattered and no lighting. But after we survive the physical journey, the hotel is really a must visit gem. The view from the room is amazing. Every room faces the lake. The room is traditional Japanese room with nice tatami mats and buckwheat quality pillow. The highlight has to be the breakfast and the onsen. The breakfast and dinner need to be reserved in advance (must include breakfast when you book the room). Food is fresh and chef quality. The onsen faces the lake so is really special experience. You can also visit the ropeway in the morning. Service is also excellent. The team is responsive and also helped us order dinner as there are no food nearby. Overall this is a must visit hotel for anyone who wants authentic Japanese experience and next to the lake. The breakfast and onsen is also a must when you are there.

Quite a bit of walk from kawaguchiko station and the slope up is very steep (maybe a 45 degrees incline). Quite dark too at night. Recommend to drive, otherwise be prepared for a workout just to get up. But the lake view from the room is great and it’s close to the attractions by the lake

The hotel is right next to the Kawaguchiko cable car. The lake view is good. The service is warm. There are public and private hot springs (private baths are charged separately). The hotel is a certain age and the facilities are slightly older and very Japanese-style. There is a shuttle bus to and from Kawaguchiko Station every day from 9 am to 11 am and in the afternoon. You can contact the hotel for transfer from 2 to 9 o'clock. The only drawback is that if you walk to the hotel, you need to climb a mountain road halfway up the mountain. When the staff saw the meeting, they rushed to help with the luggage. If you originally planned to walk up the mountain, this section is okay. You can walk up the mountain from here. Entrance

I stayed there on a trip to Kawaguchiko... It was a place where you can feel like a Japanese ryokan. In addition, the hot springs were nice. It was a shame that there were no good places to eat nearby.

Very satisfied with the service. The boss is very nice. Because there is no elevator, the service staff helped to take the luggage upstairs. The buffet breakfast has few varieties and nothing delicious. The main thing to say is that the location is really halfway up the mountain. I took a taxi on the first day and the driver couldn't be found. I was very tired after a day of playing. Then I had to climb a long slope to get to the hotel. I was speechless.

The hotel is located with a view of Lake Kawaguchi, but you can't see Mount Fuji at all. The hotel service is not bad. You must check-in after three o'clock, and you need to check out before 10 o'clock in the morning. There is a chartered car pick-up at two o'clock in the afternoon every day, but the hotel is too Old, always a hotel with a history, but the room hygiene needs to be improved, the floor is stained, the price is a bit disappointing, the only breakfast is really good, I believe that many hotels in Lake Kawaguchi are more cost-effective😅

The scenery is great, with a full lake view, and a very traditional hotel. My stay was short so I wasn't able to fully enjoy the facilities.
