It was acquired by Chateraise and became Chateraise Hotel Isawa. The prices are in the same price range as hot spring inns and hotels that have existed for a long time, but I think the contents are at the same level as the old Kanpo Inn (I have never stayed there). There are free all-you-can-eat popsicles and welcome cakes, which may be good for families with children, but the public bath, open-air bath, and garden do not seem to have been renovated or refurbished, making them a bit different from other inns. It was much lower than the public bath, open-air bath, and garden, and I wondered if this was the Chateraise Hotel. The kaiseki meal, made with ingredients from Yamanashi, was very satisfying.

Since I was a child, I often went to Kanpo no Yado. When I heard that the Kanpo Inn was going to run out, I decided to take my mother somewhere... This time I went with the ``Yamanashi is great'' plan, and the appetizers and sashimi were elaborate and good. ワンコ同伴ルームへ宿泊（２ベッドの和室）でした。わんこ連れはホテルの裏側に入り口があり、リードのままで入室可能。一階部分に６部屋ほど有るよう。ペット同伴料金は2500円。まぁ普通でしょう。わんこグッズがトイレとシート・コロコロのみ。何もない処に比べればOKな方でしょうが…どうせワンコ専用ルーム作ったんだからもう少しサービス考えても良いと思う。 建物や部屋は古いですが、清掃面では大きな問題はないし、洗面所はリニューアルしたようで綺麗でした。ルームキーも２個 温泉もちょっとぬるっとした感じで気持ちよかった。 食事は地の物使った懐石。味は良いしボリュームも程よく、何と言ってもアルコール類の値段が安い。殆ど500～600円。これはほかにはない安さではないかと思った。 ウエルカムサービスも充実。ワインも飲み放題でシャトレーゼのケーキ食べれます。私は個人的にシャトレーゼのお菓子好きなので、嬉しいサービスでしたよ
